Burning dilemma

When Kaide left the dungeon, he felt like an accomplished man who had finally gotten his revenge; now his only problem left was how he was going to bring Taz to his side. And if Taz didn’t join and accept him as the new king, he would have to kill him.

He took each stride with pride and a wicked smile on his face, recalling the look of despair on their faces and how distraught they were about their son. Revenge was so sweet it was almost too perfect.

But he didn’t need to worry about them anymore, now that they'd be dead by sunrise. "Well, if it isn’t the man of the hour,” Newman's drunk voice called as he rushed his drink to cheer the minute Kaide entered the door.

He tried his best not to squirm or squint his nose away from the intrusion of different scents around the table. Now it was filled with women and the smell of sex; they all lounged on the sofas, drunk and lavished on the expensive wine that Newman had to offer.
