LAYLA’s POV…

I hadn’t even made it too far from the pack but I was already too scared. I stared at the bushes and even though I hadn’t made it into the forest, it was already feeling like I would lose it at anytime.

I grabbed on to the hem of my dress as I looked at the bushes, did Cora really come all the way here just to save Leo? How did she not die by merely staring at these things because I’d not even made it into the forest but it was like fear was already going to kill me.
