Neo's POV

It was early morning, the second day after mummy told us that some people were trying to hurt Melody. I couldn't believe it still. Who would want to hurt a girl as sweet as that?

I couldn't sleep at all through the night and kept tossing about on the bed, trying to think of a way to protect Melody on our own terms. I couldn't leave it to mummy, daddy and Uncle Liam alone to solve. They wouldn't be there all the time. I had meant it when I had said we would also protect Melody. Now, the problem was I couldn't think of how we were going to do that.

I thought of telling Melody and decided against it. It was a bad idea. She wouldn't believe me and asides that, it would only freak her out. There was no way we could tell her without telling her that we heard it from a witch and revealing that we were werewolves. To humans, we were monsters based on all the stories they heard and movies they watched.

It was either she thought we were monsters or crazy and both weren't going to let
