Ella's POV

I bit down gently on my lower lip as I stared at him and wasn't surprised when his attention moved there. He looked back at my face, his eyes clouding with desire but he didn't make a move towards me.

I wasn't bothered. If he needed more nudge, then so be it.

"You should dress up." He said but he didn't move away from me.

"You think?" I asked, running my tongue over my lip.

He groaned. "Ella,"

"We still have twenty minutes." I reminded him, moving closer to him.

"We do." He agreed, letting go of his hesitation and drawing me closer.

I moaned as his lips crashed on mine and held tightly to his shirt as I kissed him back. I let my towel fall and he groaned, his eyes widening as he saw me entirely naked.

"Ella!" He breathed. "You are beautiful." His compliment was a caress on my skin.

I felt beautiful and sexy by the look in his eyes. His eyes seemed to worship me as they traveled all across my body, roving over my breasts till they got all the way down.

I didn't think I could

Ella's POV"Ella, out." Dad shouted from outside where I was to have my trainings.I frowned as I stepped out of the house. Hadn't he said the training was to start by ten, an hour after breakfast? Why was he shouting for me to come out so persistently when I wasn't late? I shook my head as I moved forward. He could be funny at times.Kevin ran out to meet me and pulled me back by my hand, his face covered in worry. I smiled at the sight of him. He was always cute whenever I see him like this though I knew he wasn't trying to be cute. I wondered if he was ever going to stop acting like a worried mum. Even my mum would have trusted me by now and stop acting like I was going to the death cellar anytime I was going to train.I hoped he wasn't going to stop me from fighting the rogues on the D-Day of the war. I was going to fight him and bust his nose on that day if he tried to stop me."Kevin," I gasped, looking at where he held me and then back at his face. "What are you doing? I need t

Kevin's POV"Charge!" Zeke shouted at the top of his lungs and blew a whistle by putting few folded fingers between his lips.I think I was going to die now. I didn't think I could do this. I didn't think I could watch this. I loved watching battles and dueling among my men, both in wolf and human forms. I couldn't believe I was shivering at the moment because it was Ella in the ring right now.I understood what Zeke had said and planned to do. Ella needed to do more than training with him if she wanted to fight in the war. She wouldn't listen if she was asked to not fight but this wasn't what I was prepared to watch. Heck, I didn't think Ella was ready as well and that was what I had told Zeke when he had told me of his plans for today's training.Did he have to do that so soon? I asked myself even though I knew the answer to the question and knew that he should have done that way before now.I knew he was right but he didn't have to pick Damien and Loki to be her opponents. There we

Ella's POVGosh, this was hard, harder than I thought. Who was I kidding? I knew this was going to be hard before I signed up for it. The real war was probably going to be harder than this. They were rogues I would be fighting against. They were strong, brutal and violent. I couldn't afford to be weak.I was getting tired already from all the cuts and blows I had endured and the energy my body had lost from trying to repair it all. I was grateful I wasn't getting dizzy yet.I stole a glance at Kevin and winced, hating how wrecked he looked. I was the one getting beaten up by his men but he was the one suffering the pain. I needed to win this to put his heart at rest and put a smile on his face.I tuned in to the battle again, focusing on my two opponents who seemed to be enjoying this than they should be. Maybe I was tired and didn't seem right. They were probably too far gone in their characters and acting like they were having fun from this when they weren't. I was probably reading

Kevin's POV"My lord," Damien and Loki greeted with bows as they passed by where I was, figuring out how to calm my nerves down after watching the most frightening fight of my life.Gosh, I really needed to stop being dramatic.I turned to them, the residual anger I had felt from watching them fight bursting out into the open."You are greeting me now when you almost turned me into a widower?" I questioned them. They looked confused for a moment, wondering what I meant by being a widower when I wasn't married. I doubted they knew what I meant with the way they looked at me. The confusion didn't last long though as they smiled at me, their expression clearing up as they understood what I meant."My lord," Damien began. "We couldn't have done that to you."Loki chuckled and nodded. "He is right. How could we have done that to your mate?"I pouted. "It seemed like that to me. It seemed like you were going to kill her with the way you kept slashing at her face and throwing blows at her."

Kenneth's POVI sat in my office, rolling on the chair as I stared at the birds on my desk. Only four of them were back out of the countless birds I had sent out. I was worried, wondering if the birds had landed safely and the men had gotten my message. It had been four days since I had sent the letters and expected the men to be trooping into the palace but they weren't here yet. I hadn't even gotten a response to my letters and couldn't stop worrying about what the delay was all about.I feared the worst. I feared that the letters had fallen into the wrong hands. I feared that someone totally unrelated to who the letters were meant for had seen the birds flying in the air, shot at them with a catapult and eaten them.My heart squeezed at the thought of my precious birds being turned to meat and ending up in someone's belly. I didn't put precious time in raising them for them to have such a bland ending."Damn it," I cursed, banging my fist hard upon the desk and holding in my wince

Kenneth's POVThey were coming. Today. It was today they were coming and I was so excited. The men had sent other letters and had attached the date of their arrival to it.I was elated that they had all decided to do that. They must have known what a worrying mess I was even without anyone telling them. Good. I smiled, reminding myself why they were worthy of being my soldiers.I checked the calendar again for the umpteenth time, confirming to myself that it was truly today that they were here. They had told me that they had resolved their issues and would be around today. Though they hadn't used the birds that I had sent and theirs that they had groomed and I didn't recognize, I couldn't fail to recognize the handwriting and style of writing of my soldiers. I hadn't painstakingly trained them for years to not know information as little as that about them.I checked the sun, hating that it was soon going down and no longer as bright as it had been hours ago. I sighed, feeling worried

Kevin's POV"Put it on that side." I yelled commands at the men, digging up the grounds with them as well."Yes." They echoed and continued with what they were doing. We had been busy since morning laying traps in the ground. I had learned something while I stayed in the utopia town trying to find a way to rescue Ella and admitted to myself that we needed an edge to beat the rogues, considering how small our number was as compared to the troops that I knew the bastard Kenneth would come with.He was too predictable that I would have said this upcoming war wasn't fun if the lives of those who I cared about weren't involved in it. He thought he was a dangerous wolf but he was not in reality. He was a bully who took delight in attacking the helpless and a coward who wouldn't fight a battle he didn't know if he would win.I had learned of explosives while I was in the utopia town and knew that was our only hope of beating the black wolves with our numbers."Have you filled this side?" I a

Kenneth's POVI stood before the men, looking at them with pride swelling my head. I had already won the battle. I smiled as I looked at the seven hundred men with me, decked in their uniforms and looking as fierce as I felt.I didn't see any way that the men who were not up to twenty could escape alive after the battle. They had already eaten and freshened up and now we were about to have our first meeting. I was glad that they were all here when I had thought that I wouldn't get to see them."What took you so long?" I asked, trying not to groan and show them how much affected I was by their tardiness."We had to wait for the others so we could all come together." Vian, the leader of group five answered.I didn't even know that they had also communicated with one another. It was nice that they had unity and had still kept on to it even though they were apart on duty.I scanned the troops standing before me and scowled when I noticed the absence of group three and group seven. Maya's POVI looked back at the door with panic as I packed my stuff into a bag. I had to leave here soon if I wanted to stay alive. Those sly girls. I shouldn't have trusted them. They had gone to the palace to check out my story and ended up telling the palace guards what I had told them and now, those ones were at the door threatening to break it down if I didn't open up and follow them to the palace at the order of the alpha's father."Open this door, Maya. We know you are in there." The head guard roared.I shook my head, forcing myself to remain calm through the hysteria I felt. I wouldn't be tricked. They couldn't have known I was in here. I had seen them from afar before they got to the door and rushed to my bedroom to pack my stuff. I had been moving silently through the bedroom as I packed my stuff and dumped them into a travel bag. There was no way they could have heard me even with their supernatural hearing."Maya, by the order of the alpha, we demand that you open this d

Melody's POV"How did you find me?" I asked once we were back to safety."I got to where we were to meet but didn't find you. I was looking for you with Neo and Nick when I heard you scream and knew something was wrong. I called dad and we traced your scent." Nathan said.I shook my head. Everything he said was confusing. He couldn't have heard me when I was far away. How could he have traced my scent when he didn't have a dog with him?""You brought a dog?" I asked."A dog?" Nick asked, looking confused."You said you traced my scent. Didn't you do that with a dog?"The boys looked at one another and laughed. "I thought you just heard dad say we were werewolves."My eyes rounded with surprise. I wondered how many surprises I was going to have to deal with today. "He wasn't kidding. I thought he was only trying to scare the witch.""My dad doesn't make empty threats."I sucked in a breath. "You are really werewolves? Can you prove it?"The boys looked unsettled. Melody's POV"Why didn't you use the drug I gave you?" She asked.I frowned, wondering what she was talking about. "Which drug?"She snorted. "The drug I gave the other day when you complained of headaches.""I told you I used it.""You lied to me that day and I knew it. If you had used the drug, you would have been dead in the next five minutes after using it."I went pale. "I'm glad I didn't use it.""You left me no choice but to do this. I was trying to make your death painless but I guess you love pain." She smiled."Why do you want to kill me?" I didn't understand her. How could a little girl like her think of killing me?"Why do you hate sweets?""It's bad for me.""Good." She cackled. "I want to kill you because you are bad for me. You can't be allowed to grow up. You would ruin my plans.""How can you know what would happen to me in the future?""Because I know." She smirked and right before my eyes, started changing until she became a grown woman with gnarled fingers and an u

Melody's POVThe school trip was boring, more than I thought it would be. It wasn't that I had great hopes for it but I hated how I was disappointed. This wasn't it. The teachers should have just given us a free day and told us to stay at home if they didn't want to teach today rather than bringing us to a place as dry as this. The other kids were playing a game to pass the time but I wasn't interested in it. The game was boring to me as well. I stayed off from them so they wouldn't drag me into their boring game against my wish."Why are you here alone?" Nathan asked as he walked towards me.He was alone and I wondered where his brothers were."I was bored. This place is dry." I replied. "I want to go home."He chuckled. "I know. Me too. I can't believe I was looking forward so much to this.""I wasn't." I confessed. He nodded. "Too bad that we can't go home until the teachers say we can.""Why don't we play a game together?" I asked, gearing with excitement as the idea popped into m

Nathan's POVEve was back immediately the teacher left. "Aren't you excited about the trip? There is so much we can get done."I snorted. So much like what? The girl was too strange for my liking. I had been focused on the dangers of the school trip and didn't remember that Eve was here until she popped her unwanted face again. She turned to Melody, ignoring my snort. "How does your head feel now? Have you taken the drug?" She asked."Yes, my head feels better now. Thank you.""You used the drug?" Eve asked, confirming she had heard right."Yes." Melody lied. The drug was on the ground, under her shoe."I didn't see you take it.""Were you watching her?" I frowned."I was worried about her." Eve replied."I took it immediately you turned your back and walked back to your seat. I slipped it into my mouth then."Eve stared at Melody for a long time, looking as if she didn't believe her. Eventually, she nodded to herself and walked back to her seat without a word.I frowned. "You should

Maya's POVI was brimming with excitement and anxiety that both emotions bothered on hyperactivity. I felt like a child again. I felt like I was finally living after all these days of feeling dead and numb.Who could have believed that it was Kevin and Ella who made me go numb and dead inside and it was also because of them that I would feel alive again?I was excited. This was my chance to get back at Kevin for breaking my heart and Ella for stealing the position that belonged to me.I loved karma. I couldn't believe it was finally working for me after all these years and deciding to fight on my behalf. They shouldn't have messed with me. In Kevin's next life, I hoped he would think twice before hurting another female. The only person I felt for in this revenge scheme of mine was Liam but I didn't care much about him as much as I cared about what I was to do. Neo's POVMelody had to be kidding me. How could she have brought another person into our circle? This wasn't the time to get friendly with strangers. She didn't even know this girl for up to a day and she was already being friends with her and having her eat with us. I couldn't believe her guts. She was unbelievable. For all I knew, this girl was not an ordinary girl. I forced myself to calm down, reminding myself that she didn't know of the dangers that lay ahead of her. She didn't know that she had to be careful and was being her usual bubbly self. It wasn't her fault that I had begun to suspect everyone and everyone that crossed my path. It wasn't her fault at all.I looked at Eve and wondered if she was oblivious to how my brothers and I felt about her or was just trying to be stubborn. She would have known since that we weren't open to her being here with our scowls and I thought that she would have excused herself.Wouldn't it be better for her to leave and eat alone than eat h

Melody's POV"Can we eat lunch together?" She suddenly asked, just before we got to class."I... I uh..." I didn't know what to say. I didn't know how to tell her that I already made plans for lunch so it wouldn't seem like I was trying to reject her."I am not trying to do anything." She began.I frowned, wondering what she meant by that. I never said she was trying to do anything. She continued. "The thing is, I have a lot of friends at the school where I transferred from and I'm not used to eating alone. You seem kind and moreover, you were the first person to smile at me here and that was why I thought that we could be friends. I only asked if we could eat lunch together because I already see you as a friend."I sighed. She was extremely chatty but I preferred that to her crying. Uncle Liam said and waved as he turned and walked away from us."Should we hang out in the garden?" Neo suggested. "I love the smell of flowers.""Me too." I agreed, smiling at them. "I also love flowers." I also loved being in the garden with the boys. They knew so much about flowers that I always learn something new from them.
