Gisela was still in the hospital.

Dashiell spent as much time as possible with her.

That was the period they bonded more than ever before since they met each other.

Dashiell spent most of the days in the hospital – by his wife’s side.

Gisela had never known so much love since she got married to Dashiell.

Dashiell too forgot all about Pam.

He had not seen her since the news of the incident.

Up till now, Gisela didn’t know her kids were dead.

He wanted her to remain sane and have reasons to live.

More importantly, he didn’t know how to inform Gisela that her kids were gone.

As he was talking to his wife in her ward, he heard his phone beep.

He sighted the caller.

It was Pam. He quickly sent her a message.

Knowing her – she might keep calling if he didn’t pick up initially.

Pls, I’m busy. What is it?

You’ve been ignoring my calls for weeks now. I need to see you.

But why? My wife needs me.

It’s not something I can discuss over the phone.

Then we shall see tomorrow.
