Lucas' POV
I didn't know how to tell my feelings when I heard from her again after so many years.
The royal witch said I likely wouldn't get a second chance, and I didn't very care about it actually. As Alpha King, what kind of woman couldn't I get? But for some unknown reason, I always felt like I needed to see that omega again.
Especially my wolf Hugo, he missed her.
“Are you sure with this information, Fabian?” I asked while scanning the file.
“Yes. It’s in Fabrice. You are aware of the special policies of this town, Alpha. It caused some difficulties in our previous investigation.” Fabian replied truthfully.
I massaged my temple as I put down the file. Town Fabrice, the town for outcasts. Why didn't I think of this place sooner? It's the best place for a homeless omega like her.
“Any further information about her?”
“My apologies, My Alpha. So far all we've gotten is her name and that she owns a tailor store in this town." Fabian lowered his head, "You may need to make a personal trip if you want to confirm her identity."
I tapped my fingers on the desktop, lost in thought.
‘What are you waiting for? Go and find our mate!’ Hugo growled in my head.
‘We're still not sure she's our mate. Besides, I'm engaged.' I reminded the wolf.
'Don't tell me you're really going to marry that brainless woman. She's not material of Luna at all.' Hugo mocked.
'Then you mean that omega can be a good Luna?'
'Our mate is always perfect!'
I shook my head helplessly. I could understand Hugo's desire for the mate but as the alpha, the pack's benefit goes first. Town Fabrice is a special presence in history, I can't do things rashly.
"Alpha," Fabian asked me with deliberation. "Should I arrange for you the trip to Fabrice now?"
"I'll let you know when it's time." I heaved a deep sigh.
Fabian was about to ask again but the door suddenly opened. I watched Samara striding closer as I frowned.
“What’s your problem, Mara?”
“I can't believe this, Lucas! A civilian dared to reject my order!”
The spoilt woman was practically ranting, giving me a headache again.
"Put it simply," I said, pinching my brow.
As if she never noticed my harsh tone, Samara complained loudly, "You know I always want a perfect dress for our wedding. I was so glad when I found a genius design."
I pinched my fists to endure her noise. God, I couldn't imagine what it would be like to accept her around me for the rest of my life. Hugo was right. She's no material of a Luna.
"But guess what? That ungrateful designer turned down my request for an order!" Samara pressed herself against my arm, exposing her cleavage, “Lucas, can you accompany me to visit her shop?"
I ignored her deliberate seduction and retorted, "I'm busy. You'll be safe anywhere since your father has arranged so many bodyguards for you."
"Lucas, it's different this time." She didn't seem to give up. "The shop is in Town Fabrice and you know I can not go there without your accompany."
"Town Fabrice?" I raised my brow as I heard this name again. As if everything was leading me there. Weird.
"Please, Lucas. I have to give this Beatrice Everdeen a lesson. How dare a lowly wolf with no scent to reject me!”
Beatrice Everdeen? No scent?
I felt hit by those words. So it was really her? My men failed to trace her as she had no scent. And it wasn't until then that I realized it was also a gift for her.
No one can find her if she didn't want to.
I suddenly realized that I couldn't miss this opportunity. It’s been almost six years.
“Get my trip ready, Fabian,” I made the decision.

Beatrice’s POV
“Beatrice, why did you cancel that order?” Katie asked. “That will be a huge amount!”
I shook my head while busy sorting the fabric that arrived this morning.
I knew she would be shocked but I had to cancel this deal.
Katie walked closer. “Don't you forget that you need it to prepare Dylan for the surprise?”
“I'll find another way," I answered casually, trying to pretend I was not moved.
"But how? The time is approaching." Katie was still puzzled.
"Katie, I just don’t have much time to meet the demands of this honored guest." I took a deep sigh, "You’re aware of that. She’s so rude when we all talk over the phone.”
“Well, she will be the future queen of Van Zanth. What do you expect? It will be a great marketing plan if you make her dress. People will soon look for you and have their dresses be tailored.”
“I don’t like conflicts,” I replied coldly, making Katie arch her left brow.
“Conflicts about what?” Katie asked out of curiosity. “Why would it bring conflicts? Dresses are like a sacred weapon. You have to stay as clean as possible."
Hearing her words, I paused what I was doing.
“You know anything about the leader of that pack? And what was your impression about him?”
“Handsome?”
I rolled her eyes. If only she knew how bastard Alpha Lucas could be.
Katie laughed. “But seriously. He’s handsome but of course, I fear him. Rumors always say that he can kill without mercy.”
“Exactly the point.” I nodded, "And his fiancée is from a powerful pack also. And you know me, I am separating myself from those kinds.”
Katie sighed and pulled a chair. “How about Dylan? Do you know him that much? You know what, I’ve been thinking since the day you opened up to me about your relationship, aren’t you being curious where he came from—”
“Katie, I told you, his pack doesn’t want him, making him choose to escape from them.”
“Fine. Whatever—" Katie's words were cut off as the shop door was pushed open. Her jaw dropped when we recognized who entered the shop.
"Good day, Ma’am. May I help you?” Katie greeted politely as soon as she suppressed the shock in her eyes.
Who would have thought that the future queen of Van Zanth would visit a small store like ours in person?
“Where’s Beatrice Everdeen?” The woman asked sternly, being unable to mask her distaste in her eyes for the civilian dwellings. I sensed the hostility.
I crossed my arms. “You’re looking for me—”
“How dare you cancel my order? Don't you know who I am? My fiancé will teach you a lesson!” Samara interrupted. She's so rude!
I wanted to remind her of some rules in this special town but only felt creepy as I smelt a special scent from her.
That smell. I can’t be mistaken. It’s Lucas Moretti! Yes, she is his fiancée now!
My heart thumped even faster when the door chime rang.
‘Is he coming here too?’
Hell NO!
Lucas' POVThroughout the day, Hugo was restless, keeping on bugging me in my head.'Can't you be quiet for a while?' I couldn't help but ask him.'We should have been on our way to meet our mate! Why should you waste time here with these boring old men?' He growled, having no patience.'It's an emergency. I have duty for my people, Hugo!'He just rolled his eyes before he went back to my mind. I finally forced myself back to the meeting.I tapped the desktop while listening to the council's report. In response to several important issues, I gave my solutions. Luckily, the meeting would end soon.Samara should have arrived in Fabrice now. I hoped her bad temper would not scare that designer away."Well, the meeting concludes here since everything is settled," I declared as I stood up. I couldn't wait to get out of here and head to Fabrice. Yet, a voice stopped me."Please wait, Alpha."I glanced at the Elder before me with annoyance. He didn't have to open his mouth for me to know wha
Meanwhile, Beatrice was standing anxiously in the principal's office, facing a complaint about her twins.A parent demanded that the twins be expelled because they maliciously injured a classmate.Beatrice would never believe the twins would do that. She needed to find out the truth."Guys, what exactly had happened? Tell me the truth, alright." She mumbled. The twins nodded their heads in response to Beatrice."One of our classmates bullied us and told us that we don't have a father," Cazz, the girl twin said. "Brother was so angry," she added with an action.Beatrice face can't be seen with any emotions. She knew in her part, that it was her fault why the twins were bullied. Everyday. She really realize that she's at fault but if she will be asked, she rather won't tell them who their father was.She doesn't want them to get involved to their father. She also don't want them to meet the ruthless alpha she ever meet who treated her like a trash, unwanted and unknown to his pack."Mam
Beatrice's POVI was really reluctant to Katie's suggestion. I don't want my twins to lose their control of powers but I don't really want them to meet their father. Now that I've seen how ruthless and terrible he was, I can't risk my twins. I can't stop myself from facing back and forth as to what Katie had said.As I was facing back and forth, my wolf, Ava speaks up through my mind and tell me what she feels."I could feel him, Beatrice. Your mate, that runs through your twins’ blood." Ava said to me.I bit my lip. "I know, Ava. I know it very much. As much as I wanted to meet him, I am afraid that he might recognize me since I am the unscented wolf. I am his mate that he treated unknown and unwanted," I explained not minding my croaked voice."What will you do if he ever found you? You cannot just run away on him. He has the heir of his pack. And that is the twins beside you." Ava said and I can feel how she was concerned about the twins.I closed my eyes and heaved a deep sigh. I
In the midst of having sexual intercourse with this woman, I can't stop enduring the pain I am feeling right now. Every thrust, the pain stinged on my system, which I don't give a damn. I know, my wolf doesn't want me to have sex with my new bed warmer and new pussycat to fuck, and I don't know what to do anymore. For the past few years, I could feel this pain, but it was relentless. It was bearable, but right now, I can't bear the pain. Every flick of my member inside her, the greater the pain I feel. I don't know what to do now since Hugo, my wolf, is being uncontrollable."I told you, I don't like the fucking smell of your new bed warmer, Alpha!" Hugo, my wolf, growled inside my head."Oh, Lucas! Fuck me more!" The woman on my top moaned as she rocked her body on me.Despite the pain I could feel, I still thrust myself at the woman. I plunged myself even deeper and harder this time. But then I realized that the pain I was feeling right now was because of her, my mate, who is in tow
Beatrice's POVIn the morning, I came to tell the twins that we would move to Dylan's pack, and they were so excited. I didn't expect that they would want to move in, and they think that Dylan will be their father soon.I just smiled at them and waved goodbye."Take care, you two!" I shouted when they entered their room. They just waived their hands and didn't even look back at me. I sighed. My twins grow up so fast. As long as I want to carry them like a baby, I can't already do that. My baby boy is so handsome, and I know that his features were inherited from the Alpha. And my loving, beautiful girl's features also glow up.I went to the car since Dylan was waiting for me. He didn't get out of the car because he needed to answer an urgent call, so he wasn't able to say goodbye to the twins. Once I entered the car, he smiled at me."Fasten your seatbelt, love," he reminds me.I obeyed him, and he started the engine and drove away from the school. While we explore the magical road, I
Lucas POVAt the sight of her, I don't need to waste my time coming here to Fabrice just to be disregarded by her. Without hesitation, I still insist on entering her shop without her permission.I followed her into her office. I won't let her slip away. This is not the time for chasing. I want her to answer all the questions right through my mind."Beatrice!" I called her name withShe glared at me. "What do you want, Lucas?"My eyes narrowed as I confronted her. My voice was tinged with accusation."You dare to cheat on me?" I questioned her.She met my gaze; her tone looked defiant. I clenched my jaw, waiting for her answer, and in just a second, my fists crumpled even more."You are so sure we weren't even together six years ago," she replied with sarcasm. With a furrowed brow, I countered. "That doesn't answer my question, Beatrice," I retorted.I noticed how her face darkened even more. My chest is aching, and this kind of pain is not tolerable."I cut off the bond between us, Lu
Beatrice's POVMy heart pounded with so much nervousness. I am so anxious right now. I was trembling in my position. My tears keeps on streaming down my eyes and I can't even breath properly.I was just there, looking at nowhere since I can't process what was delivered to me. I don't even know what to do. Few moments later, when it sink in my mind, I swallowed hard and gets up on the floor.I picked up my phone from my bag and tried to call Dylan but he didn't answer it. I tried countless times to seek help from him but no one answers. My tears continue streaming down my face and as I tried to call Dylan, again, I didn't receive any answer. I texted him and told him what had happen. That the twins were missing.I didn't receive a message. I felt so hopeless and helpless. I crumpled my fists. I cursed inside my head. I cursed Alpha Lucas to death. If I see him, I would kill him. I would make him burn to the edge of hell. From the moment, I stood up straight. I composed myself and tried
Beatrice POVI gritted my teeth with so much frustration and anger right now. I can't manage to see my child, my son to be hurt like this. I could see the bravery fixed in Laz's eyes right now. No fear at all.My heart pounded. I could also hear the soft sob of my daughter beside me. I glance at her and motion her to step back. I will not let this slide. Alpha Leomord is heartless and merciless."Let him down," I ordered him once again.Alpha Leomord laughed evily. "Oh, are you hurting to see your son?" he ask nonchalantly.I was trembling. I crumpled my fists. I tried to pull him, to stop him. But he is stronger than me, Alpha Leomord pushed me with his other hand.I sobbed. I can't fight back. I wanted to get rid of him. For hurting my son so bad. But what I am seeing with Laz? A strong and bravery filled his eyes.My claws is itching to fight. Alpha Leomord, his arrogance radiate like foul stench, looks like his fur bristling with self-importance."Alpha Leomord," I growled, my voi
