“How was your rest?” Ryder tried to distract me to from my nausea that has appeared out of nowhere.

“Good,” My eyes fluttered shut for a moment. “Couldn’t even remember sleeping, I failed.” I continued speaking the truth.

“That’s good. You need rest, the more the better. Savannah has made some tea and food, it is going to help with the taste in your mouth.” He spoke and I shook my head i’mmediately.

“I don’t feel like eating or drinking anything.” I murmured.

“That’s alright. You can eat whenever you’re hungry, or when you feel like it. Let me leave and let you rest more.” He murmured and then turned to leave.

“No don’t leave”, I stopped him.

“Can you stay and talk to me for a bit?” I asked him in a low voice. I didn’t want to stay alone in the room.

He halted his movement and nodded his head. “Of course. What do you want to talk about?”

“About all of this,” I waved my hand vaguely around the room. “I’m tired of being told to rest, I want to have a walk outside.”

I don’t understand a thing. Why are they talking about Brinley going to the world of the dead? When that happened? If she is a vampire and a werewolf why is she sick?
