Luna Renala glared down at her son as she cut off his words. “I understand your concern, son. Your concern is you are afraid that our pack will lose their beloved soon-to-be alpha if you go there, right?”

Thezus’s face lit up before he frantically nodded his head. For him, he could finally see some light in front of the tunnel he was thrust into.

The luna continued in a stoic voice, “Then from here on, I strip you of your right as the heir of this pack. You are now nothing but an able-bodied son of mine with the duty to protect the motherland. Go, Thezus. Go and lead our men as the leader of the reinforcement team.”

Blood drained from Thezus’s face. He was too astounded to react. His eyes shifted to his father, who was only looking at him coldly with those cruel gray eyes. For the first time after a good moment of silence, he spoke to his son. “Win this war and I will bestow your title again. The only thing I want is … victory.”

Luna Renala shook her head. Her voice was too tired to a

Realization dawned upon Diana: Gelong was indeed here!Relief and worry surged in Diana’s heart. Later, Gelong’s words made her ponder over things. Her train of thoughts was immediately dispelled by Alpha Alexander’s growling voice.“Who the fuck are you?! How dare you talk about Soleyah like that! Are you one of those son of bitch’s minions?!” A grow vibrated from Alpha Alexander’s chest, canines showing, upon the dangerous statement that Gelong stated with a nonchalant voice as if he was only telling them that the sun would be out tomorrow.Gelong glanced at Alpha Alexander, his hair fluttered against the humin northern wind. Disdain was palpable in his voice and there was a trace of pity and irony in his tone. “Spy? If I am one, the very first thing I will do is to cut off this lady’s head. Trust me, they hated her with passion. Probably more than you hated them?”A knot lodged in between Alpha Alexander’s perfectly carved eyebrows. “Then, how did you know?”“Oh!” A look of realiza

What followed next was the sound of the flapping wings that left a trail of humid wind whirlwind as the winged creatures conquered the northern skies with their enormous yet majestic bodies. With her hands supporting her center of balance at the back of the gray-feathered griffin, Soleyah closed her eyes as she felt the surge of wind against her face. For a moment, she had forgotten what predicament she was in.Soleyah remembered the good old days when all she needed to worry about was how to escape her alpha lessons from her father. Now, looking up at the sky which felt as if one could reach it, she wanted to tell her parents how much she had regretted not taking those times seriously.Soleyah whispered at the back of her mind. ‘How are you, Dad, Mom? I am really riding a griffin. Your daughter is awesome, right? I just wish I could hear how much awesome I am from your lips. I would have traded that for anything.’Alpha Alexander raising his right arm as he let go of the reins snappe

Contrary to what Alpha Alexander believed, Soleyah took notice of the important details of their new mission. Soleyah and Alpha Alexander had different missions. While Diana tasked the crimson alpha and Soleyah to keep a lookout in the only entrance for any reinforcement for the enemy, Alpha Alexander was the only one who knew that he also volunteered to step back from the frontline to keep Soleyah who was destined to shed more Alliance werewolves’ blood.Had it not been for the fact that he cared about Soleyah’s decision, Alpha Alexander would have long picked his mate away from this chaos even if it meant to be called a deserter for a lifetime. For him, Soleyah was his priority. He had once made a mistake, and he was not doing it again. And now… they were right at the zero zone—a place that neither belonged to the Werewolf Committee nor the neighboring packs like the Crescent Pack. The sight that welcomed them darkened their faces. Alpha Alexander’s grip on the reins tightened while

“Trevor!” The woman screamed as she fell with her guards in tow. To make her fall a little bearable, Soleyah cut the quivering floor she was standing on with great attention—to separate the floor she was standing on from the crumbling ones that would surely swallow her.Soleyah swiftly maneuvered her body against the falling debris while her attention was into cutting the debris that would fall towards the mother and child pair. Gone was the barrier made of shields after the werewolves surrounding her were buried under the debris or were left unconscious after hitting something on their heads.Soleyah knew that a part of her—the bigger part—was tormented by the fact that she had betrayed Diana’s trust in her. Although no real harm was present at the moment, Gelong’s arrival confirmed that her selfish motive of taking the chance to take back the relic of the Woodland Pack from the Werewolf Committee’s tower would result in a bloodbath. And seeing this scene right after she landed gave

  • Rejected Luna's Vengeance    Tale Of The Blood Alpha I

Alpha Cameron, who saw the scene in his peripheral vision, remembered the name of the blood alpha and why he was dubbed as one. If the people of the wolven continent dubbed the crimson alpha for his blood-like fur that was out of the ordinary, they knew the blood alpha was earned because of the blood he spilled during the wartime against witches. Pulling the reins of his griffin, Alpha Cameron let his griffin skydive to the bottom of the cliff—his stance ready to catch the free-falling blood alpha who fell after swinging his half-transformed claws. Alpha Dylan’s griffin was too far away and Alpha Cameron knew that before the alpha’s griffin could reach its owner, the blood alpha would succumb to the piercing stones that surrounded the northernmost coast. The port was long gone.Reaching for his hand, Alpha Cameron knelt atop his gray-feathered griffin. His griffin was still diving towards the stones that would surely kill them if they fell. Against the wind and the force pulling them,

Gelong’s curiosity-laden eyes were wandering around the area in front of him. His eyes, which seemed to be littered with glittering golden specks, scanned the darkened sky. Above him, he saw two griffins free-falling near the cliff while there was an ongoing war between the griffins and the phantoms a kilometer above the sea.Flames of deep azure and pale blue erupted continuously above the scalding northern sea territory. The clashing of flesh and jagged teeth foregoes as griffins and phantoms collided above the cloudless sky. They brought the darkness on the horizon by the hundreds of winged serpents that overshadowed the glistening southern sun.‘With the looks of things, even with the presence of combined abominations, the war was still far from over. But the number was still a strength. They are overwhelming them with numbers that even the Alliance would never imagine. Their only mistake is that they thought that the Werewolf Committee was cornered,’ Gelong thought.“Should I kno

“Do you have a plan, Alpha Liam?” Dylan asked in respect to Alpha Liam’s authority in this group.Alpha Liam nodded his head without hesitation. His men were attentive to their alpha’s next words while the Blood Claws Pack’s wolves’ were listening as well. “Alpha Dylan, we need to gather the other groups and griffins as soon as possible. There are kidnapped people from our packs found and we must evacuate them lest they become collateral damage. Let them ride on the backs of our griffins; my group will protect them. On the other hand, you will guide the others to attack the remaining phantoms.”“Let’s do that.” Alpha Dylan immediately agreed to the plan before he shifted his attention to his men. “Gather as many epsilon-ranked werewolves as possible. Create a firewall through the talismans given by my mate. Make use of the wind to amplify the fire while the others evacuate the citizens to Alpha Alexander’s side.”“Yes, alpha.”“As you wish, alpha.”Alpha Dylan muttered, “Good.”The g

Diana thought the surprises would stop after Gelong changed into a legendary drahon right in front of her eyes, but no. Apparently, it was the prelude of something nerve-wrackingThe yawning white-scaled dragon with blunt horns stretched its legs, tilted its enormous head from side to side before it practically rolled its golden eyes. “Hello, captain obvious. I am a mouse. Of course, I am a dragon! Check this out, old friend!” The talking dragon breathed a crimson fire a meter away from her stunned face.Even the scalding heat of the crimson fire did not deter her as she stayed immobile after realizing that the peculiar dragon talked, not in her mind, but he seriously talked! It was new for Diana who once had a confidant like Sonjah. Long ago, when the Moon Goddess slept inside the cradle of oblivion, Comba was the only god of the world. Just like how the Moon Goddess blessed the werewolves with their wolf counterparts, Comba blessed the witches with the ability to command the nature at will across the seven seas. The gift given by Comba was the reason why witches stood at the peak of the chain with so much difference in power compared to the races beneath them. It was because of this peculiar and convenient blessing that the witches were both revered and feared by the other races. They revered them for their strength and they feared them for the little sense of empathy towards the lower races. They treated the werewolves as their slaves. For many centuries, werewolves were skinned as their clothes while the werewolves’ heads hanged by their homes and gates as ornaments. It was a time that werewolves almost became instinct. Female werewolves were exploited for sick entertainment while male werewolves were used as

Clad in an epsilon-ranked uniform of the enemy camp, the shade of red and black did wonders against the snow-like complexion of Dana and the noble elf as they trudged the empty plains of the southern territory. Kicking the piles of snow and stones in her way, Diana cleared the path for Gelong who was walking behind her like a duckling following its mother goose. The heaving sound of a set of constricted lungs made her stop. She turned around as she untied the black tattered satin from her neck before she placed it around Gelong’s frostbitten neck and chin.“We will find a safety spot for you with food and enough heat to last you as you wait for me.” Diana muttered under her breath. A ghost of a translucent smoke escaped from her chapped lips.Upon her words, Gelong lifted her chin to meet a set of orbs staring at him already – making him want to step back like always. “Where are you going? You are not planning to go into this plan without me, aren’t you?”On instinct, his hands found

Heavy footsteps together with the rattling of chains echoed within the empty corridors of the fortress they were staying at. The silent breathing of the elven folk did not leave unnoticed for Diana as the two of them were on high alert as they trudged within the hallways of the keep. Diana gritted her canines, enough to make her taste her blood trailing down her throat. She did not like, especially Teshin, how they were chain into submission. Had it not been for the remaining logic within her mind, she was sure that the corridor walls would have bathed the blood of the delta-ranked werewolf traitors.Three trecherous delta-ranked werewolves, clad with their uniforms which the insignia of the secret circle was embroidered, wore smug faces as they held the leash that the prisoners were bound to. One of the delta-ranked werewolves, who had a bloody knuckle, pulled the leash he was holding on a whim. On cue, Diana stumbled forward – losing her footing and which made her chin kiss the dust

Tears started to stream from her unblinking eyes. The color of her eyes darkened that it almost looked like the starless northern night sky as she stared at the enemy alpha, who was grinning down at her.She plead, “Please. Please, give me a chance to be of used to you. That elf can only do so much while I am better tenfold than her.”Crimson ink dropped onto the pristine tiled floor. The tip of the claw grazed Diana’s throat. Upon seeing her crying face, the first alpha, who was apprehensive about everything, was about to step forward when the second alpha, who was constantly courting death, spoke again. “Bring him in.”On cue, the enormous double doors of the throne room opened followed by the rattling of chains and the painful grunts of the person being dragged ensued. Diana, who was not able to turn her head, waited for the person to be brought in front of her. The nagging instinct she had made her quiver with fear.“Let us welcome our very important guest, everyone! Gelong the No

“You must go while you still can. They will ask me about you after they get their hands on Gelong. Before then, you must leave the place and come back to where you come from. With your ability, I know that you can survive escaping from this place. That place is safer for you than remaining here.” Her nose smelled his unfamiliar scent and a change of his hair color along with the difference in his height. Gone was the scent that Diana was used to.Diana shook his head. “It is too late for that.”“What?”In front of Diana, the fading mirage of Gelong together with the loud thud of the dungeon’s entrance bombarded her. The moment that the heavy footsteps appeared before her, the enemy leader had already disappeared.‘Teleportation? Is this also one of his powers? How did the enemy become this strong?’ Diana’s train of thought snapped when a werewolf invaded her senses.“Move!” A werewolf pushed Diana away from the iron bars which made her stagger. A couple of meters away from him, wildflowers started to bloom in the middle of the snowstorm. The trail of flowers led to the trudging person, heading in the direction of the man. Amidst the temperature, his thin cloth barely covered his dainty body paired with his bare feet that buried a mark on the white-colored ground with every step he took, and a pair of eyes glowed like the rising moon.“Took you long enough to come here,” said the man who waited. His back was on him when he stood a meter away from the newly arrived person.“I enjoyed the last of my vacation for I know that the time has come for us to move; we will have no luxury to relax anymore.” The sweet voice answered the man. He took a step and moved ahead, striding past him before he kneeled in front of the tomb. “Rush vanala. It has been years since I last talked to you, but now we can’t do that anymore.” Lumeria, the dryad, heaved a shaky sigh before he continued. “And like what I promised, the wolven race is at stake.

Diana, who was left alone with the leader of the enemy, started to question why she was there. She somehow realized that it was not sheer curiosity that made him call her—it was something more. And for whatever it was, Diana felt she would not like wherever this ‘talk’ was going.“You are from the Crescent Pack, right? And you’re a hybrid as well.” The enemy leader started to speak without even telling her to raise her head.“Yeah right.” Though her head was bent down, Diana spoke with a clear and calm voice which the enemy leader found quite vexing. His eyes gleamed with malediction.“And when was the last heat of your pretty little shapeshifter? I am quite curious to spawn a hybrid of an elf and a wolf. They said that male elves can conceive as well.” This time, the enemy leader cracked a grin upon seeing the hybrid luna in front of him go rigid. He was ecstatic to know that the infamous hybrid luna’s weakness was someone so trivial —something that should be easy to deal with. Seein

‘I have parents to avenge and a pack to protect – from the sidelines. Killing the abominations will be my priority to stop the plausible scenario where the innocent would get killed in a war, not theirs to fight and die for. I need this war to stop escalating, and I need my mate and my vassals to do that. But where are they?’Teshin, after encountering Shananel, answered at the back of her mind. ‘They are nearby, Diana. I can sense them.’Diana wandered her predatory eyes discreetly as her head bent down, but she could not even see a single hair of Dylan’s electric blue eyes or a shade of Gelong’s locks. The scene wherein she saw Gelong being surrounded and enclosed by the phantoms struck her mind.‘I have to go back and find him. All I need is to present this plan to the southern alphas. I bet they will allow me if I told them about my capability to use the offensive flame spells—this way, I can venture out beyond the barrier. A small table was placed near her with a jar and a cup of water along with a piece of bread and dried meat. There were also some white pieces of cloth folded neatly beside the place as if Dylan was telling her to change her wretched clothes. The lamp that was hanging near the pillar had almost ran out of flame and the dozens of rushed footsteps from different directions right outside her tent were a telltale sign that the war had taken a pause but it was yet to end.“I am in an Alliance encampment,” said Diana as realization dawned upon her. After taking all the pieces together, she was a hundred percentile sure that the blood alpha had brought her in the encampment.‘Then, the abominations and Shananel did not chase us. What about Gelong?’Though staggering, Diana stood from the makeshift bed and walked around – her bare feet did not deter upon the contact with the cold ground. Her frantic eyes landed on the crescent-shaped blade which was now clean compared to what she remembered. T
