A bright light enveloped the entire area where the wolves were, extending to the grasslands up to the boundaries of this dimensional space.

“Huh?” Talia opened her right eye first while feeling up her body for any anomalies. Her brows knitted together after feeling… nothing. The ‘question mark’ on her face was clearly written, making her open both of her eyes in wonder.

‘Did my empty magic reserve help me stop my forbidden spell just now?’ Talia stared at the fading Scepter of Ygdrasil in her hand as she closed her eyes once more to feel her body.

There was no fluctuation… as if it was sealed by something unknown—an energy far greater than her own.

“What happened?” Talia asked herself which was heard by the wolves below her.

Her mind raced with all questions, but her eyes were fixated on the behemoth whose two limbs were now out from the restrictions of the tight hole it had climbed from.

Roar!

Screech!

‘Will we perish here just because I lost all my energy? But what is that energy?’
