Devastation

As soon as the gigantic scorpions appeared, Diana increased the energy output of the Scepter of Fate.

She had come this far. There was no way in hell that she would let Shananel take this round!

Determination burned in Diana’s eyes as she took a step forward. The tip of the Scepter of Fate was merely three inches away from the pebbles in the small pond.

As cracks littered on the surface of the pebble, the entire desert started to tremble as if an earthquake ensued. This was a sign for Diana to keep moving forward… to keep attacking the eye of the array.

Not minding the incoming pincers that hovered over her, Diana raced against time. Slowly, shadows loomed over her as the heavy stench of the scorpion’s mouth blew over Diana.
