Crescent Pack's Desperate Call

Diana moved on instinct.

She shifted as soon as she stood up, fully unaware of the disapproving gaze of the blue-eyed wolf behind her. Diana was too busy snarling and warning the fifty and more wolves that surrounded them. She even failed to remember that just a few minutes ago, she was crying about her pregnancy.

The Diana right now was a Luna who would fight tooth and nail against invaders. Her instinct was to kill and to live no one alive. Her reddish eyes turned darker, resembling the blood that would soon be spilled around the cabin.

‘Seymor!’ She called the beta through the mind link. ‘Where are you? The northern border of the territory has been breached! Are the town and the pack house alright?’

The only consolation in Diana’s chaotic mind was the fact that she did not feel any painful tug in the connection she had with her pack members—it only meant one thing, no one was dead yet in the Blood Claws Pack.

Immediately, Seymor’s voice rung inside her head.
