301 : In His Darkness

ELIJAH

The darkness is suffocating, a thick, oppressive blanket that seems to seep into every pore of my being. My feet are submerged in a river of black tar, its viscous surface rippling and bubbling ominously. My wrists and ankles are chained to a cold, hard bench, the metal biting into my flesh. I sit there, a prisoner in my own mind, trapped in this dark, desolate realm.

The world around me is shrouded in perpetual darkness, punctuated only by the occasional flicker of an unseen flame. Black smoke curls and writhes around me, a fucking sinister, malevolent presence. I feel empty, hollow, like a shell without a soul. There is no light here, no hope, no escape.

I think back to the day I fought Rena. I remember the pain in her eyes, the fear that had etched itself onto her face. I hurt her badly. I tried my best to control myself, but it was no use. I wasn't in control anymore. My dark side had taken over, and it had consumed me whole.
