ASHELY’S POV

The moment that Ashley turned and saw Alpha Liam she panicked and almost tripped, but he was fast enough to catch her right before she fell.

She gasped as he had her in his arms and they maintained eye contact staring at each other.

Then she very gently eased herself free from his grasp and stood at her own.

“Thank you.” She said. Before she could say anything more he snapped at her.

“What the hell are you doing here?” He demanded.

She swallowed. “I was just talking a walk. I wanted to get some water first to drink because I was thirty and then I got a bit lost and I found myself here.”

“Didn’t madame Lucy tell you that no one is allowed here?” He demanded of her.

Ashley but her bottom lip and nodded her head like a foolish girl. “She did. But I didn’t mean to.”

He looked like he could kill her in a bare instant.

“And yet you disobeyed.” He said coldly.

So cold that she felt shivers down her spine.

“I didn’t mean too I am sorry.” She apologized but he wasn’t listen
