Chapter Sixty-six ~Forgiving Heart~

Jasper was supposed to be here in the woods with me. That's how we planned it earlier though.

At school today, he told me he'll come to pick me up by 5:00 pm after we both have rested for a while.

Unfortunately, twenty minutes ago he called to inform me about the change in plan, that his father, Alpha Roderick, has an important task for him to do. He advised us to postpone it until tomorrow.

I had almost stayed back at home listening to Jasper's advice but later I decided to go on my own. Staying back and not training today just because he wasn't with me was like becoming too dependent on him. I frowned at the idea and went off to the woods. I wouldn't be proceeding into the denser parts of the woods. This is to stay safe since I'm alone.

I practice more on what Jasper has taught me these few weeks. Swift and silent foot movements, speed control, and breathing beneath the water in my wolf form among other things.
