Chapter 78

Riley's Pov

The council of elders were all gathered in the courtyard. Mother was also present and so was Danny, Darius and Sharon. The major discussion of the meeting is about Sharon who Darius brought in.

I still couldn't believe what he said about Sharon being his wife. It can't be Sharon of all people.

"Alpha, don't mind me if I ask this but, is she truly the mate you found? How did this all happened and when did you get married?" one of the elders asked. It is obvious all of us are confused and in disbelief of the whole matter.

Darius placed his hands on hers and smiled. Seeing that gesture made my heart to skip a beat.

"Yes. She is my mate." he replied.
