Riley's Pov

I turned off the candle light and went out of the study room and searched around the room but he wasn't there. I can perceive his scent but where is he?

I heard a grunt coming from the window. I looked there wondering what was that, but before I could go check it out, Darius held on to the window sill and struggled to enter the room. He was finding it difficult to climb down. He look like he was in pain.

He was able to enter the room, but was on the floor, grunting in pain. I rushed to him and knelt down beside him. He was stabbed and was losing blood.

"Alpha." I called.

His eyes were closed and he was panting heavily. He looks so weak. He is badly injured, I need to call for help. The physician, his mother, or Danny. I need to call for help before something happens to him.

I stood up to leave, but a hand held mine, stopping me from going any further. I turned and found his gaze on me.
