After Eros departure, mother walked in.

She gave me a questioning look, which I pretended not to notice.

Mom didn't buy my pretense, so she stomped towards the dining table I was leaning against and with her hand across her chest she asked,

“What happened between both of you? It's barely up to a minute since you walked in, and now he is gone. What did you say to him, or what did he say to you?”

I rolled my eyes at her question, but didn't say a word.

“I'm speaking to you” mom yelled

“Let me be. I have nothing to say to you” I yelled in return.

I hated when mom tried to make me do things against my will.

For crying out loud, I was grown up; hence I had the right to do whatever I wanted, how I wanted and when I wanted it.

Before taking the decision to move in with her earlier that day, I had weighed the pros and cons.

I knew we were going to be at loggerheads most times, but I had to give it a shot.

Moreover, I didn't want anyone to barge into my home and start molesting me.
