Jessica turned to him, pushing stray strands of hair from her face, sure she hadn't heard him well.

"I said I lied… " Austin shrugged with a sigh like what he was about to say was going to be very difficult even for him.

Jessica just stood there and waited till he approached her, and the entire time she didn't move or even breath, and she found it even harder to breath when he stopped right In front of her, his breath on her hear where he could reach.

"Um.. " she wondered why he was getting close and why he had been acting awkward. Usually, he didn't speak, and she didn't mind since he listened, but even though it was the same thing today, she noticed an intense emotion swirling in his eyes as he looked at her.

She couldn't quite explain what it was, but she was sure that something wasn't right at all.

"Angel did want to come with us… " he started and her eyes widened when she realized what he meant when he said he lied to her.
