AMAIRA'S POV

My eyes widened as he just kept staring at me, and I so badly wanted the ground to open below and swallow me up, but wishes didn't come that easy.

"N- Nothing" I said and looked out the window like I really meant my denial and he was just being ridiculous because he was hearing things. "I said Nothing."

"It better be Nothing..."

He starts the car and keeps driving, and I stare at the moon up ahead, taking note of how late it was.

Just when I was slowly dozing off, unable to help how long I've sat there doing nothing but feeling sleepy, the car abruptly stops, snapping me from my reverie.

I glanced up to see a mansion so big, my head tilted up slightly as I got a view of the roof top up ahead.

"Amazing isn't it..." He asked, and when I turned to him, I noticed he's been staring at me and it creeped me out.

"Mm." I mumble, not wanting to say 'I've seen better' to annoy him, because he looked like the kind of guy who doesn't like to be joked with.
