Chapter 34

Delilah's POV:

Waking up to the blaring alarm, I donned my running gear and went out for a run. Avoiding the woods as much as I could in case I would run into some particular lycan, I tend not to go deeper into it.

It had been more than a week since I returned from the pack mansion and no matter how busy I tried to be, Xee was always roaming around somewhere in the back of my mind. I missed him. I missed him so fucking much. Everything felt incomplete and empty like some major part of my life was missing. Just when had he become so much important to me? Meeting him daily was the highlight of my day and now, all of a sudden, he was nowhere near me.

My heart and my mind were in a brutal battle with each other where my heart was continuously defending his actions but my mind couldn't deny the fact that what he did was wrong. He lied and betrayed me when I trusted him the most.

The night of returning from the mansion, I cried my heart out. I let the dam break as fat. ugly tears rushed down

he didn't lie you just didn't let him tell it, you were so focused on sleeping with him you didn't let him finish what he was trying to tell you...
