Discovering her strengths and weaknesses, as well as her flaws, and coming to terms with who she is.

“If there is anything else you want to know about her, please let me know.” Mr. Kahl prompted, taking him out of his bubble of thoughts about his beautiful mate.

“No, that is all there is to it.” “Okay, bye—”

Dylan clicks the end button of his phone and focuses his gaze on the road stretching ahead of him while his mind is consumed by his mate.

She was well aware of who he was. She had seen him kill those men who assaulted her. She might have been terrified of him at first glance, but he never caught a glimpse of the rejection in her eyes.

Dylan knew that she was also feeling the same way to him. The way her breath caught in her throat when she looked at him, and the way her heart raced wildly inside her chest when he drew her closer to him. The melodious drumbeat of her heart is like a song that has become stuck in his head, and he can't seem to get enough of listening to it.

She is not a Muslim, but she lives in an Islamic country where it is forbidden for all women to dress in a liberated manner. It is definitely new to her, though she isn’t complaining. Lorelei also put on her makeup, which was coordinated with her outfit. Her hair had been brushed down, highlighting the wavy curls at the end of her hair that cascaded just above her waistline. “You’re so beautiful!” Gazing herself in the mirror, Lorelei beamed up behind her. Her friend also wore a satin olive-green short dress with a plunging v neckline, hugging her curves so perfectly that, accenting her beautiful black skin and paired up with nude color killer heels lacing up through her knees. Lorelei also set her hair into a natural mess. “You too.” She replied, all too thrilled for this night to get started. “Shall we go outside? I can’t wait for Craig’s reaction to see us both.” Her friend suggested, taking her by the wrist and dragging her outside the room. Lorelei went out first, jumping in

His knuckles turned white from gripping the steering wheel so tight as he weaved through the busy street of Bunga. His wolf snorted with rage, clawing inside him, wanting to be let out and take things on its own, and Dylan struggled to keep him at bay. Throughout the sequence of traffic lights, his patience is wearing thin and he is losing his cool. He’s worried that through the span of time that he was still traveling, something might happen to his mate, same with the incident through the dark alleyway. ‘Isn’t she thinking?’ He muttered to himself as he slammed the brakes as the pub came into view, causing his car to drift sideways instead of parking it properly. He hurriedly stepped out of his car and shut the door with a loud thud, paving his way through the entranceway. Loud sound blaring in his ears, just like when he picked up Stacey the last time. The strong scent of mixed smell assaulted his nostrils, making him hold his breath for the longest time until he came to a spot wh

  • Rejected Billionaire Alpha   Thought Of It

He strode around towards the driver’s seat and climbed inside his car. He threw his mate one quick glance before he started the engine and drove away from the pub. She was leaning on the window. Her feet extended fully on the car’s floor. Her eyes were closed, but it didn’t seem that she was sleeping. She moves every now and then. His car's interior was filled with the scent of her, which was mingled with alcohol. It occurred to him that he should return home, but he quickly realized that Stacey would only exacerbate the situation if she saw Rachel. Eventually, Dylan decided to take her to her small apartment, where she had been staying. He wonders if how Rachel was taking in everything that she had seen in that alleyway. She called him a beast earlier in the pub. Had he been wrong about thinking that she accepted him? That she wasn’t scared of him? What if she rejects him? A twist of pain run through his body at the mere thought of it. “Hmm,” Dylan's attention was drawn to Rachel

However, Rachel got her stubbornness mingled with the residue of intoxication that was still coursing through her veins and only scoff at him.“No, Mr. Wolfman. I can go home all by myself. I can take a cab, and...” She was about to reach for something on her side when she realized it was empty, mumbling to herself as she scratched the back of her head.“Oh, Lorelei has my purse.” “Now, get in the car, Rachie. We are on a desolated road. No taxis are going this way.” Dylan only huffed out his amusement upon seeing the disappointment on her face, knowing that she had lost their meager argument. “Fine.” She rolled her eyes on him and stomped her way back inside the car, slamming the door close with a loud bang. Dylan only shakes his head in disbelief, a laugh that earns its way out from him as he sprints towards the driver’s seat. He’s actually worried about what his house would be like once he put her and Stacey in one room. Helen would probably be laughing her butts off watching h

Dylan couldn’t believe that most of her things here didn’t work. How can she live in a place like this? Ruffling his hair, he fished out his phone from his pocket and dialed some numbers on it, punching the call button. “Hello, Mr. Reed, how can I help you at this time of night?” A woman’s voice came through the other line after his call rang for a few seconds. “Grace, find me a new refrigerator, fill it with supplies, run through the groceries, take everything that a kitchen needs. Then find me a collapsible bathtub and room heater. I'll send you the address on where it is going to be delivered.” He said without wasting any moments to pass, all the while rubbing his forehead and pacing back and forth at the center of the room. “When would you like me to get it ready?” Dylan paused for a moment and looked down on his watch, seeing that it had already struck midnight. Hoping that there will be more time before Rachel will rouse and go sober. “Now. I want it delivered before three

Satisfied with his work on her hair, Dylan shifted her into a more comfortable position, leaning down and placing a gentle peck on the forehead before he left her room and went to inspect the progress on the outside. He looked down on his wristwatch, seeing that it was almost dawn and the rest of the crew were making the final touches for all the things he had purchased. He wanted to see Rachel’s reaction when she woke up, yet he could not. There were still things he needed to do in his office. He knew Grace couldn’t handle all the workload meant for him to settle. As much as the woman admired him and could not say no to all of his requests, he is not heartless enough to put the poor woman through such a stressful situation. She stood there, fazed with everything. Rachel urges herself to move, thinking that maybe, just maybe, when she gets home after works, then everything is back to normal. Now that she comes to think about it, she realizes that she does, in fact, have a job to do, and that it is getting late. “Oh! damn!” She bolted out of the kitchen and dashed to her bathroom, stripping off her clothes and hurling them all over the place as she jumped into her shower. Gingerly stepping on the tub and turning the shower on, setting the heater into lukewarm. She was still eying the thing carefully, waiting for it to disappear from her vision. Suddenly, warm water gushed forth from the showerhead, blessing her with its pleasant temperature. She kept reminding herself that she would be late if she stayed in the shower any longer than was absolutely necessary, no matter how much she wanted to indulge herself in the shower. It was already too late for her to take back the words she had said as Dylan didn’t squander any second to pass on and shut the space among them and slammed his mouth on hers. Not that she minds at all. Finally, Rachel let go of all of her apprehensions, her worry, and forgot everything that was holding her down, and kissed him back. The time seems to slow down around them. The world began to slip away. So unexpected, yet deep down, she knew this was going to happen. So hot. • Rejected Billionaire Alpha   In his Mansion

They have arrived in the mansion. Rachel was surprised that Dylan had taken her directly in his place rather than to hers. She looks about like a fish out of water, her eyes big as saucers as she marvels at the place. The incredible lighting fixtures reflected on her eyes. She also noticed that despite the extravagance, its modern touches, the tall, wide, and shiny panes that would welcome and greet the morning ray of sun every day. The coral white painted rock walls, with their colors seasoned by time, seemed to belong exactly where they were, as if they had sprouted directly from the hallowed earth itself. It appears that the mansion was constructed before her great grandparents were even born. Dylan admitted his age to her, and it won’t be surprising that he had this place constructed centuries ago. For a fleeting moment, she even wondered if this place could also be considered as hunted as well, just like she had seen on a most old house that was built before the war. What was Dy

The next thing that happened was that Rachel’s feet were lifted off the ground before she even realized it and her soul almost sifted out from her. Nothing she could do was pound her fist into Dylan's back, slamming it as hard as she could while her vision swayed as he began to walk forward. She was about to walk away, turn her back on him, and be on her own path, yet this giant of a wolf man is persistent and won't be taking no for an answer. “Damn you, Dylan! Put me down!” She yelled, continuing to rain down her fist on his back. Hence Dylan seems to be unfazed by it and only releases a deep chuckle from his chest that causes his shoulders to quiver in response, jerking her along with the movement. “Didn't I tell you, either you are with me or I'll carry your ass back to my car...You opted for the latter.” He chuckled as he spanked her bottoms with his enormous hands, completely taking her by surprise. “Hey! Why would you do that?” She sneered, arching her back by pushing herself

Rachel let out a heavy sigh, rolling her eyes, she uncrossed her arms to divert her attention away from him. She seemed to be more interested on her boots, instead of focusing her attention on the dense tension growing between them. “Okay. Good talking to you. I’m probably drunk with my two glasses of martini. I’m fine. I don’t know what I’m talking about.” She said it in a careless tone, waving her hand and smiling at herself as if the whole show of bravado didn’t bother her in the slightest when in fact it wracks her up on the inside. “Goodbye.” She put a smile on her face and was about to walk away. However, a yelp suddenly tore through her lips when a tight grip clamped on her arms, pulling her with much force. “Hey...” Rachel lost her footing and tripped one foot on the other, her body twirling around, and the next thing she knew, a warm pair of lips covered hers. ***Dylan let out a throaty gasp as he realized that the velvety smoothness of her lips was precisely matched to

The music appears to be fading away in the distance. As Rachel locked her gaze on his features, her heart beat like the strings of a guitar played by deft fingers. She doesn’t have any ideas what she’s going to do or if she’s going to confront him for leaving. What is he doing here? Is he here with someone? Had he forgotten all about her? Those were all the questions that raced through her mind when he saw Dylan. She finished the martini she ordered, paying a little heed to the scorching feeling that flowed down her throat, and paid the bartender the exact amount and followed him. However, she was not prepared for the abrupt eruption of a ruckus, which nearly knocked her to the ground. Lucky for her, she was shoved to the side and out of the way, allowing her to get a better perspective of what was going on around her. Rachel saw the girl in a pink dress, shouting at Dylan as he went to punch a guy in the face. Her mouth fell open, confused at the same. The guy was hauled out of the

The bouncer that stood guard on the entrance only gave him a short nod in recognition, letting him pass smoothly without asking for his identification. The blasting sound promptly plagued his hearing, and his nose wrinkled with dislike as he strung among the grinding bodies on the dancefloor. His gaze zeroed on the crowd, looking not for only one person but for two. Dylan tried to follow his mate’s scent, however he generally lost all sense of direction in this whole pack of crowd places. He couldn’t make out Stacey’s scent either. He was too centered around looking through the ocean of bouncing heads on the dancefloor until a yell tore through the booming music that grabbed his attention. “Mr. Reed!” Dylan squinted his gaze and followed his investigator’s voice. He found him over the corner, his arms raised, and waved for him to see with one hand cup beside his mouth to amplify his voice.“She’s here!” Without having second thoughts, he spears through the throng of people, pushin

The bartender smiled at her the moment she perched on her seat as he slid in front of her across the counter. “What can | get you for tonight, miss beautiful?” Rachel thought about it for a moment, her eyes looking over the varieties of liquor that were put on display over the shelves. She wasn’t familiar with all the kinds of drinks, so she blurted whatever the first thing that came out of her head. “One glass of martini, please.” She didn’t know what kind of drink it was that, but she heard for it quite a few times, so at least she could give it a try. “One martini, coming right up.” The bartender chirped and proceeded to prepare her order.
