Selene
"Are you okay?" Emery questioned, gripping the chair I was sitting on tightly.
"Yes, he is really frightening," I stifled a giggle.
She added, "He may come across as intimidating, but on the inside, he is cool."
"I doubt it," I said to myself.
"The doctor is on her way; let us get you to your room." She offered to help me get back on my feet.
I was led into a room that appeared to be larger than my previous one, with a large bed and everything properly arranged and decorated.
"Okay, this does not look like a place a slave would stay," I muttered.
"Slave? Who said you were one?" She chuckled, looking surprised.
"Well, I was bought, so what should I expect?" I settled onto the couch with a shrug.
"You are anything but a slave!"
"Why should I see a doctor?" I probed.
She responded, "Well, the Alpha has the answer to that," and I had the impression they were concealing something.
After a while, an elderly lady was led into my room. "Good day," she said as I mumbled greetings and nodded my head.
She began to examine me, which was unfamiliar to me because I am not a doctor.
"Everything is fine," she said, motioning.
"Is this something you have done before?" She questioned while maintaining eye contact.
“Done what?” I inquired, visibly stressed.
"Had sex?" She inquired, and I was already choking on my saliva.
"No" "Okay," she replied, packing her belongings and leaving me with yet more questions.
Knock knock.
The door pushed open, revealing the intimidating Alpha. I sat up, aware of his strong presence around me. He walked closer, hovering his massive figure in front of me before settling down on the bed.
"You are good, but not emotionally stable, according to the doctor," he said, pausing.
I looked at him warily as he said indifferently, "I bought you because I needed a breeder."
"You are kidding, right?" I laughed, but it subsided when I saw the grave expression on his face.
"You what.. Me a breeder?" I stuttered as he stiffly nodded.
"I can't!" I said resolutely.
"You have no choice," He told me showing his dominace, his expression belying his ignorance.
"I am just letting you know, and if you do not do your job properly, you will be a slave," he said, leaving no room for argument.
“Can I at least think about it?” I asked, bitting my lips showing my fears as I observed his eyes lingering on my lips.
“There is nothing to think about, I bought you which means you can't say no to me” My persistence seemed to have angered him.
"After I breed your heir, what happens?" I questioned while maintaining eye contact with him.
"You will be granted your freedom," He echoed, but the tone of his voice filled me with fear.
"Why do I feel like my freedom means death?" I wondered aloud before realizing I had, and his expression blazed with anger while a vein popped out in his neck.
"You would be ready for the task tonight, until then." He fixed me with his gaze, and before I could comprehend his meaning, he had left my room.
I lay on the bed, staring at the colorful walls. First I was rejected by my mate, then betrayed by my best friend, and now I have been sold to become a breeder. I do not recall the last time I felt truly loved and cared for.
I murmured gloomily as I wiped away my tears, "Lyra, you must be tired of being my wolf." I never let myself cry; instead, I bottled up my tears because I had no one to dry them for me.
“Well, what can I do? I can not leave your sorry ass," she sarcastically replied, and I burst out laughing.
"Are you able to speak?" I inquired; this was probably the first time I had heard her speak since I met her.
"I just did," she teased, her demeanor playful.
I was about to strike up a conversation with her when there was a knock on the door, and Emery came out.
"Well, you have become a regular visitor," I said as she beamed at me.
"Was he here?" She asked as she sat down beside me.
"Yes, and his arrival never seems to bring good news," I muttered.
“He wants me to breed his heir, doesn't he have a mate?” I inquired, my gaze drawn to her.
"He does not believe in mates, but he loves a woman who can not bear his heir, so he needs you," she explained, and I nodded.
I took a deep breath and held her hands. "He said I could get my freedom; does that mean I get to leave?" I asked, my eyes bright with hope, but she quickly averted them, and that is when it hit me, I will never be able to leave this place.
I released my hands from hers and muttered, "I get it," as she gave me a pity look.
"I hope tonight goes well for you; try your hardest." She gave me a smile and patted my hands before heading out of the room.
"Lyra, the door is open for you to leave," I sang, as she whimpered.
“Dumb again?” I teased.
As the sun began to set, my heart began to race, and the knock on my door nearly ripped my heart out.
"We are here to prepare you for tonight." The two ladies said looking reserved, I nodded at them and let them in.
I would be ecstatic right now if I were not getting ready to be eaten by my predator after receiving the best hot bath of my life.
For the first time, I appreciated my figure; I had no idea I was this curvaceous. I was wearing a red, lacey nightgown that was extremely revealing.
Curvy hips, full breasts, and full lips, but the moon goddess was determined to make me suffer, and I gagged at the thought. My hair was perfectly styled in a messy bun, giving me a seductive appearance.
"You look gorgeous, my lady." One of the ladies commented, I was looking like a prey ready to be eaten.
“Let’s go” They led me out of my room, where I saw Emery gawk at me, then grinned.
Standing in front of a huge door “All the best” She whispered and I was left alone.
I gently knocked on the door while holding my breath. "Come in." A thick voice responded, lightly stroking my heart.
I opened the door a little and entered the dimly lit room, with the bedside lamp being the only source of light.
My eyes scanned the room for him, but he was not on the bed. I heard a sound and turned to look in that direction, where he sat like a Greek god, my gaze roaming his well-built bare chest. I returned my gaze to his face; his hair was falling and nearly blocking his field of vision, making me want to stroke it.
I saw him smirk at me, pulling my eyes away from him, I bowed my head. "You have not seen a handsome man before?" His luscious voices sang harmoniously to my ears, while I scoffed internally at his arrogance.
In an instant, he was standing in front of me, his strong almond and honey scent wafting through my nose, enticing my senses, and my heart leaped in excitement and fear.
With an expression I had never seen before, he gave me a quick glance and said, "Come." His words resonated deeply with me, and I clumsily followed him, my feet twitchy with nervousness.
He placed me on the bed, his massive frame looming over me before he fixed his gaze on me for a long moment.
“Part your legs for me, princess” Alpha Damian humored huskily like he was intoxicated, I whimpered as he voice sents a jolts of emotions round my body. An emotion that I wasn't supposed to feel.
I tried to spread my legs as he had instructed, but I felt something wet on my cheeks. When I looked over at him, his jaw tightened and he was staring at me with disdain.
"Get out," he yelled angrily, as I scampered away to my room, afraid of being consumed by his rage.
DamianFor the hundredth time, I called her name, "Selene." There is something about her and the way she makes me feel that I still do not understand.I stood close to my window staring at the stars, I very much expected her to react that way l when I attempted to touch her but it still hurt me a little bit.“Am I scary?, it is not like I forced her," I muttered to myself as my wolf growled.“What?” I asked, rolling my eyes."We both know you forced her; she did not consent to this," he said, slightly irritated. My wolf appeared to be drawn to Selene; I must admit, she is stunning, but I have a woman I adore.“Do you like her?” I squinted my eyes as if he were in front of me.“N...no, I just pity her” He stuttered.“Liar” I mentally yelled.“I heard you” He warned while I rolled my eyes.I knew he was lying considering the way he stuttered. Selene was more than a breeder to me but I do not intend to develop any feelings for her whatsoever.I strolled casually to my bed and laid on it
SeleneI couldn't sleep last night after the encounter with the Alpha, I was scared of what would happen considering the look on his face.Tossing on my bed, I heard the sound on the door “Who could that be?”I clutched my head feeling light-headed“Come in” I yelled as the door pushed open revealing Emery.“Hi”, She gave a cheesy grin while I rolled my eyes with a knowing look.“How did it go?” She asked, settling beside me.“I chickened out,” I replied in a groggy tone.“Ouch, you will be fine” She patted me lightly.“Freshen up, breakfast is served” She added.“Can I eat here?, I can't face him after last night” I pleaded, flickering my brows at her.“It is not in my power, don't keep everyone waiting” She appealed to me.“Fine” I replied flatly, as I sauntered into the bathroom. We both headed to the dining room, his scent was evident in my nose as my heart raced beyond control. I couldn't fail to notice how he doted on the lady sitting beside him.“Who is she?” I whispered to Emer
DamianI dragged Olivia into my office “Damian you are hurting me” She whined as I released my grip on her.“What was that?” I asked in a hoarse tone making her stepped back a little.“What?” She rubbed where I had gripped her lightly.“Olivia, Selene is not a slave. She is here to breed my heir can you not cause a problem?” I tried not to sound unpleasant.“You are siding with her, seriously?” She looked like she had seen a ghost.Exhaling, I held her shoulder “ I am not, I just don't want you getting into a fight with a commoner. She isn't worth it” I softly replied making her smile lightly.“Okay,” She pouted while I placed a kiss on it.“I have to discuss work with Adrain, I will see you later” I dismissed her as Adrain walked in.“How do you put up with her?” He asked, shaking his head vigorously.“Don’t speak about my woman like that” I frowned while he put his hands in a form of surrender.“Is she okay?” “Nice of you to care for a commoner” He mocked settling opposite me.“Tch
SeleneI almost drowned myself when I got into my room early this morning. I tried to scrub away his touch and the feeling I felt from being laid by him.“It hurts” I whispered as tears formed a cloth in my eyes blocking my line of sight while I remembered how he ushered me out of his room with anger despite falling and limping.“I’d wipe my tears and woman up if I were you” Lyra chided me. She always eluded this strong aura compared to how weak and vulnerable I was.“You can try to be a little bit nicer” I rolled my eyes while she scoffed.“As much as I hate to admit it, we are nothing but a breeder to the Alpha and we need to be strong and try not to get our hopes high even if he treats us well” Lrya advised me which happens to be her longest speech in a while now.I felt a feeling of satisfaction knowing that even though she didn't say much, I knew she loved and cared for me.“Lyra, I love how you love me” I let my tears fall freely while I tried to wipe them off.“I don't have a c
Damian It's been three days since I locked Selene up in the dungeon without food or water. Adrain and Emery had been on my neck to release her but I didn't budge. What I can't even place is if I was angry about what she did to Olivia or if the punishment was because she was flirting with Lucien that morning. The door of my office pushed open and an angry-looking Lucien walked in “This is the height of it, how can you lock someone up for so long?” He asked with disbelief on his face.“Do you have a thing for Selene?” I asked, looking pissed, he has been in this office more than I can remember since I locked her up.“That doesn't answer the question, you seriously locked her up because of Olivia. That girl is turning you into a beast” He spat furiously, heightening my anger.“Just leave before you join her,” I said in a gruff tone.“How about you make me join her? At least she would have some company.” He challenged me while I pinched my nose trying to control my anger.“Damian, three
SeleneThree days of darkness, hunger, and thirst in the dungeon have reshaped my priorities. My sole focus now is to complete my job, uncover the truth about my identity, exact revenge on those who've wronged me, and perhaps, just perhaps, find a glimmer of happiness in a life that's been forever scarred. But hope is a luxury I can hardly afford. The avoidance game was over. He'd finally called my bluff, requesting my presence in his chamber at 8 P.M sharp. The clock was ticking, and I couldn't help but wonder what lay in store for me tonight. It was time to face the music.I stared at myself in the mirror, the blue lacy gown matched my skin perfectly revealing my curves and my beauty. I packed my hair in a messy bun and proceeded out of the room.Exhaling, I placed a tiny knock on the door and I heard him asking me to come in.I entered and I noticed he stood still, his heart breathing rapidly, I took a step and another until I was close to him, my eyes blazing with intensity “You
SeleneI stood still when I heard his rough voice closely behind me “T..to my room” I stuttered facing him.He tilted his head to the side, “You need to take a shower” He uttered scrutinizing me.“Yes, I will do that in my room” I turned towards the door clicking the door knob.“Is there something chasing you from this room?” I turned to face him in surprise as he cocked his brows in confusion.“A commoner shouldn't sleep in the Alpha’s chamber” I reminded him while he blinked his eyes.“Use my bathroom,” He said, heading to the bed.“I’m sorry what?” I asked but he ignored me.I stood there for a few minutes before heading to his bathroom. I wrapped the bathrobe on my body after I was done scenting like him.“Change into this,” He offered me one of his tops and walked out immediately.I wore the top which was a plus size on me and headed to the room “I will go to my room now” I scratched my neck as he lay on the freshly changed sheets.“I am not done with you” He uttered in a gruff t
SeleneTwo weeks have passed since my fateful encounter with Lucien, and a fragile sense of tense calmness has settled over the pack. The Alpha's attention has been absorbed by pack affairs, allowing me to steer clear of Olivia's watchful gaze. Yet, I can't shake the feeling that something is amiss with the Alpha's behavior. But my concerns are overshadowed by the looming threat of the full moon, which will soon reveal whether I carry the Alpha's heir. The weight of this uncertainty hangs heavy, as today's moon's reckoning will determine my fate. Will I be reduced to a mere slave, or elevated to a position of power within the pack? The outcome is far from certain, and the pack's eyes will be upon me, waiting to see which path I'll take.“Are you scared?” Emery popped out from nowhere.“Ohh my goodness, you startled me” I held my breath glaring at her.“I didn't mean to, you have been staring into the space for over how many minutes” Worry was laced in her words as she patted my shou
Damian I forced a nervous smile, trying to process what Adrain had just said “By accusing the wrong person you mean Selene?” I asked. He nodded, dropping some files on my desk before sitting down “How did you know that?” I asked, raising a brow at him.“I admit that you asked me to drop the investigation but I couldn't. Selene isn't that type of person and I finally proved it” He said, tapping the files.I pinched the bridge of my nose, a wave of nausea scorching through me “What's in there?” I heard Lucien ask.Adrain Locked his gaze on me “Apparently, Axel lied about everything. Selene on the other hand was trying to find the culprit, she had approached Axel to help her not knowing he was evil” Adrain said.I snapped my eyes open “Axel?” I asked, shock etched in my voice. He nodded “Unfortunately, our most trusted warrior is a culprit, he framed Selene,” Adrain said.I furrowed my brows in confusion “Selene accepted the crime, why?” I asked.“From my investigation, Axel had threate
DamianMy anger flared up as I thundered “Selene has escaped and you have the guts to come and tell me. Go and look for her” I yelled, my voice echoing. He bowed and scurried out of the room, leaving me seething with rage “Adrain make sure most of the warriors go in search of her. Inform every pack in case she is found there” I said, locking gaze with him.He nodded, his expression somber before leaving the room. I pinched the bridge of my nose, trying to shake off the headache that was brewing “She has the nerve to escape from me” I muttered.Time ticked as I sat on my chair, tapping my finger impatiently on my leg. Adrain walked in “I have put a call across our ally packs, they will notify us immediately she is spotted in their territory ” He informed.I nodded, gesturing for him to sit. “Has any of the warriors returned with any news?” I asked, my frustration wearing thin.He shook his head “None yet” I sighed, rubbing my temples “How did this happen in the first place?” I asked.
SeleneI knew my scent was covered, and I'd be untraceable, but I wasn't going to give my pursuers any chance to catch up. I quickly got to my feet, careful to cover my tracks as I disappeared into the forest. After throwing them off my trail, I finally felt safe enough to stop and catch my breath.I got to a river after a while and I felt the sudden need to have a bath because I haven't had one since I got locked up.I glanced around cautiously, before pulling my clothes and dipping myself into the water. The cold and refreshing feeling it gave me calmed my nerves, I quickly washed myself up, got out, and changed into the clean clothes Dorathus had kept for me.I sat down and brought out food to eat, I ate my meal glancing around to be sure that no one was coming. I finished eating and I was packing up to leave so I could find somewhere to stay since it was getting dark.I heard a deep voice say “What is a she-wolf doing all by herself in the middle of the forest” My mind and body
DamianI sat in my room, lost in thought, contemplating the perfect punishment for Selene. Her betrayal had left a deep wound, and I wanted her to feel the same level of pain and frustration that I did. Confining her in the cell without sunlight seemed fitting, knowing she would get frustrated and lose her mind in there.Olivia’s voice brought me out of my reverie. Since Selene’s crime I and Olivia had become increasingly close, I guess I made the mistake of involving a third party in our relationship or so I thought.“Damian, what are you thinking about?” She asked, I smiled down at her kissing her hair.“Nothing, what were you saying?” I asked. Her eyes sparkled with excitement as she showed me her phone pointing out a few things she had added to her cart to buy.Olivia's first love had to be shopping, she loved a luxurious life. It's a good thing that I can give her that. “Sure, I will clear that for you,” I said, her face beaming with smiles as she pulled me into a hug.A knock i
SeleneI lay in the darkness of my cell room, my body aching from the hard labor but despite the pain, my mind was consumed by the thought of the woman I had met earlier. She seemed to know me very well, but I wasn't sure if this was a trap to get into more trouble or if it was a way to save me and also to help figure out my identity.I finally decided to summon Lyra after days of not speaking to her because I felt embarrassed and ashamed of always getting myself into trouble.“Lyra, my wolf” I teased while I felt her roll her eyes.“You finally remembered me after making decisions all by yourself” She spat with sarcasm.I bowed my head down in shame, “I’m sorry,” I muttered.“I understand, you had to accept this crime because of Emery,” She said, her voice soft.“That lady at the marketplace, I think we should listen to her. We have nothing to lose” She said while I nodded in understanding.I was getting a bit frustrated, getting locked up in a place with no sunlight, just darkness w
Rated 18!!!DamianAs I stood by the window, gazing out at the pack's land, my mind was consumed by the thoughts of Selene's betrayal. Axel, my trusted warrior and investigator, had been monitoring her and Olivia, and his reports had been increasingly troubling. At first, I had hoped against all that Selene was innocent, that she wasn't the one who had conspired with an outsider to hurt our pack.Every tiny thread of hope cut into pieces when all the evidence gathered together proved that she was guilty for a moment, I couldn't believe I had doubted Olivia.I heard the door of my office open and close “Damian, I think we should go and interrogate her” I heard Adrain say behind me.I peeled my eyes away from the window and turned towards him “Yeah, sure” I said.We headed to the dungeon and waited in the torture room. After a moment Selene was dragged into the room, I stared at her with utter disdain. Her eyes looked swollen like she had been crying, my mind recoiled from the thoughts
SeleneI gazed at him, my eyes blazing with fury, “You deceived me” I whispered, my voice trembling. He chuckled, saying “You were dumb, you think you would be a hero by catching the culprit?, stupid” He spat.“I will make all of you pay, every single one of you is responsible for this. I will make you pay” I screamed. He dragged my hair, pulling my head back “Shut up, if you do not agree to the crime. I am going to kill you” He threatened before exiting the room.I collapsed on the cold floor, Angry tears streaming down my face, Aside from the fact that I was accused of something I didn't do, the real culprit was walking freely.I tried to numb my feelings, glancing around to see if there was any way I could escape this place before Axel struck again. It was fruitless, the place was fully guarded and the guards watched every movement that I made.I was dragged out of the cell to the torture room, I could feel my heart beating rapidly at the thought of my last experience here.I met A
SeleneAs I walked alongside the warrior to the gathering ground, my heart pounded rapidly in my chest. Something felt off, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it.The warrior ushered me in, I met the angry and curious faces of the pack members. The elders in the pack, Alpha, Adrian, Olivia, Octavia, and Lucien were present.I scanned the room trying to read Alpha Damian’s expression but his face was masked with calmness revealing nothing. I took a deep breath trying to calm my racing thoughts.I stood in the center of the gathering ground, surrounded by the pack members. The air was thick with tension and I could hear whispers around me. I tried to make sense of what was happening but before I could process my thoughts, Alpha Damian's voice echoed through the gathering ground.“Silence” He commanded, slowly the side talk died down. I felt a shiver run down my spine as his gaze locked onto mine.“Selene, did this pack and its people do you any wrong by accepting you as one of us?”
SeleneAfter my encounter with Olivia, I was more confident in finding out who is trying to harm this pack.I know it's not in my place to do so considering my stance here but it's the least I can do to save us from further harm.I decided that I was going to ask some of the warriors questions with the hopes of them answering me.First I need to meet Lucien, he was the one who called out to me before I was shot. “Hey,” I greeted, him after I was ushered into his room.“Hi, do you need something?” He asked, pointing towards the couch.I sat down, before saying “I am interested on how the war started,” He cast me a wary gaze.I smiled nervously “I mean, I was almost killed,” I said, scratching my neck. His voice turned dismissive “Selene you shouldn't bother yourself with these things, Damian will get to the root of the matter” He said.I sighed the moment I got out of his room, I guess what transpired between us these past few days has made him uptight around me.The next person to vi
