Noah POV

“ Are you okay Noah?” she comes closer, she doesn’t take her eyes away from mine.

“ Scarlet..” I call her name, but then I pause, biting down my lips. I’m trying to study how she would react to the news I’m about to break to her.

“ Go on, Noah. What’s wrong?” She tilts her head at me, putting one hand on my shoulder. Michael stares at me as though he could feel that something is wrong already.

“ Speak up Man, what’s wrong? Why is the pack rowdy?” He breathes out heavily.

I shut my eyes tightly, fighting out the courage to tell her. “ I’m sorry Scarlet, your father is dead.” I take a very long breath refusing to break eye contacts with her.

“ What?” she says with a half smirk, as though it’s a joke or something.

“ How is that possible?” Michael frowns, he doesn’t believe as well.
