EVELYN POV

Giovanni and I sat on the couch in the principal's office, on his table it was the little statue of moon goddess and a pile of files on top of each other on his table and on his shelf. The man had just come in from outside, still looking slightly disoriented. When he noticed Giovanni who was sitting down beside me, his eyes widened for a moment, but then he shrugged it off and took a seat across from us.

The woman who had accused us was also there, sitting stiffly across from me. She shot me an angry look, her glare sharp enough to make me roll my eyes.

"We’ve received reports that your children have been causing a lot of trouble at this school..." The principal began,

Before he could finish, the woman cut him off sharply. "Exactly! Her kids need to be expelled, or else this school will be stained with disgrace. It’ll be a shame if the school does nothing to protect the safety of the other students!"

The middle-aged man who I assumed was the principal, smirked at her words.

EVELYN“Shut your mouth!” she hissed. “I don’t know what you’re trying to do, but stop making things worse for her. How can you be so cruel to an innocent little girl?”I scoffed, barely able to believe what I was hearing. A bitter smirk twisted my lips as I muttered under my breath, “Cruel, huh? That’s rich coming from you.”Just then, my phone rang. I glanced at the screen, it was John. I hissed under my breath, quickly rejecting the call before turning on “Do Not Disturb.”Why’s he bothering me now?"If you don’t accept," Giovanni began, "then, in case you’re unaware, we have another piece of proof, a certain proof, that you’re lying. And that your daughter here is the real bully." His sharp gaze locked onto her as he raised an eyebrow. "If you can’t even bring your child here in the presence of the principal, then how do you expect us to believe your so-called proof is authentic?" I blinked, my breath hitching as Giovanni’s words lingered in the mind. My mind raced. What proof?

EVELYN POV "Please," Aria whispered, her voice trembling as she sank to her knees, rubbing her hands together like her life depended on it. "I beg you, Evelyn. I know you're angry with me because of... because of my shameless act..." "Of course, I am," I shot at her as I leaned back in my chair, crossing my legs. "But honestly? You're the least of my problems. Just... get out of my sight."For a moment, her face crumpled, pulling her features into a frown. But then, as if grasping for one last thread of hope, she looked up at me with pleading eyes that seemed to scream for forgiveness. Still on her knees, she reached out suddenly, her hands wrapping around my ankle like a drowning person clutching at a lifeline. I stiffened, yanking my leg back as if her touch burned me."What you did? It will never be forgiven, not even if you roll on the floor begging." I rose from the chair, Giovanni standing beside me like a shadow. The look on her face when she realized who he was, pure shock

That disgusting woman… is she the one you’re cheating on her with?”I looked away, my silence seems to trigger them but I didn't care, I was want to collapse on the bed with Evelyn's picture placed on my chest.“Mum, can you see why he isn’t responding?” Her voice rose, trembling with anger and pain. “It’s because it’s the truth. ALPHA JOHNMy jaw tightened as I stared at the screen. I snapped my phone shut, tossing it onto the bed with a sigh. At least she accepted the flowers, that was something. But why on earth would she think Giovanni sent them? That fucking prick!Does he know she loves roses? How much more does he know about my Evelyn? The thought alone made my blood simmer. Giovanni. He was always there, always finding ways to get under my skin, and now he was invading this too. He just keeps pushing, keeps getting on my nerves. But then again, my mind drifted back to what I saw earlier today. Passing ThornField School, I had spotted Giovanni and Evelyn walking out of the school premises together. They weren’t alone, a woman trailed behind them, her posture stiff, her face painted with what looked like a rage and how I chest was moving as she breathes. Gosh. This is exactly the kind of thing I should be informed about, not Giovanni. The thought of him knowing more about Evelyn's life than I di

EVELYN POV"Has the spy been buried?" I asked Giovanni, with my voice laced with curiosity. "He has," Giovanni replied with a firm nod. "The autopsy was conducted, but..." He hesitated, his brows furrowed. "They found nothing, nothing at all, linking him to the creature that destroyed our pack member’s farmland. It’s... confusing, to say the least." Before I could respond, two cheerful voices rang out. "Bye, Mummy! Bye, Daddy Giovanni!" Harry and Harriet called, their little hands waving excitedly as they disappeared into the school hallway. Giovanni had decided to join me today to drop the twins off at school. As we walked them to the entrance, I noticed the stares, wide-eyed and filled with disbelief, from the other children. Their gazes darted between Giovanni, me, and my twins. Bunch of bullies. Do you all really think you can pick on my kids, and I’ll just stand by and do nothing? Little rats. The corner of my lips twitched, and a small smile broke my lips.We were at Costco Restaurant, where I had managed to reserve a cozy table for four in the VIP section immediately I got the messy coming from Harry. The lines of text blurred, but I couldn’t look away. My hands shook as I fumbled to call the doctor who had performed the test. I needed to hear it from him. I needed to know if what I was seeing was real. "Jeez, Diane, I told you these are legit! Go watch a movie with your brother, Harry. I’ll call you when it’s ready, okay?”Harriet frowned but didn’t argue. Instead, she turned and padded over to the cabinet. Climbing onto a tall stool, she reached for a knife to cut some leaves. “Harriet, wait!” Evelyn’s voice rang out, gently, stopping her in her tracks. “Come on, you’ll hurt yourself; it’s sharp!” Evelyn warned, glancing at the knife in her daughter’s hands.“Is it so wrong for me to help you in the kitchen, Mum?” Harriet asked, her eyes wide with surprise.Evelyn shook her head, taken aback by the question. Then, as if the weight of everything she’d been holding in finally broke loose, she began to cry. This had an effect on me as I had to fight the sting in my own eyes.“My life… it’s only going to get worse from here,” she choked out.I looked at her, helpless.Goddess, what can I possibly do to ease this young girl's pain?I didn’t even know her story. But the sorrow in her eyes told me more than words ever could, she’d been through hell. She was beautiful, short golden hair and eyes wide and soft like a doe’s. I didn’t want to bother her with questions. She’d been through enough and she needs rest. So, I let it go for now.“We’ll come back tomorrow, to check up on you,” I whispered to myself as we quietly left.A few hours later, I still couldn’t sleep. We had returned to the mansion, where everything was quiet. JOHN“Let’s leave,” I urged her, reaching for her arm.But she pulled away, shaking her head hard. Her finger shot toward a crowded spot in the distance, eyes wide with urgency.“We have to save that girl first, John,” she said, voice trembling.I turned to Solomon. He caught my look and gave a quick nod as he’d heard Evelyn too, and he understood.A rough voice barked behind me. “You twat! Do you even know what you’ve done?”Three men stood there, rage burning in their eyes. One of them clutched his hand, blood dripping between his fingers. I glanced down at my claws, one of his fingers lay at my feet. “Fuuuck! What are you?” the man screamed, his voice breaking from pain and fear.My claws was sharper than any freshly-forged blade, than any normal Alpha wolf because of the special features I was brought up with. One hard strike was all it took to kill. The air was filled with an overwhelming mix of blood, sweat, moans, sperm and too many creatures. Vampires. Hybrids. Strong wolves.

"She's still not answering, and she's not in the club either," Solomon said, letting out a sigh.John’s chest was beating. A strange feeling crawled over him, like something wasn’t right with Eveyln. He couldn’t shake the urge to go find her. "She probably took a taxi home," Solo added, scanning the area.John's eyes swept the street, and then he froze. There it was, the car he dreaded to see. Giovanni’s.His heart skipped a beat."Maybe... she’s with Giovanni," he muttered under his breath."But we've checked everywhere. They're not inside," Solomon said, glancing around with uncertainty in his eyes. That was when a chilling thought gripped John, a terrifying 'what if' that twisted in his gut as he remembered how Elena and Giovanni drugged her so that he would take advantage of her. The girls exchanged a glance, hesitant, their eyes flicking back to the card in her hand. “We can’t,” one of the girls said quickly, shaking her head. “The bartender is the one who’s supposed to direct you.” With a mysterious smile, she dipped her head and slipped out of the restroom, leaving Evelyn standing there with more questions than answers. Evelyn exhaled shakily and made her way to the bar. She placed the card carefully on the counter, its glossy surface catching the dim light. The bartender’s eyes widened the moment he saw it. He snatched it up, glancing left and right as if to make sure no one else had seen. Not a single word passed between them. Evelyn stayed silent, her pulse thudding in her ears. Without explanation, the man disappeared into the kitchen. Moments later, a female bartender took his place, wiping the counter as if nothing had happened. Evelyn blinked, confused. “Where’s the other bartender?” The woma

UNIQUE CLUBHOUSEGiovanni lounged on the couch, a glass of expensive wine cradled in his hand. In front of him, two naked bodies having sex as the lady's legs were widely spread apart, moaning out loud, but he barely wasn't even enjoying the show displayed at his front. His grip tightened on the glass, knuckles pale, eyes shut tight. Evelyn’s voice echoed in his mind. Her words from earlier clung to him like smoke.“You seem stressed, Alpha,” came a sultry voice.A woman stepped into view, wearing only a lacy bra and panties that did not cover much of her ass and boobs. Nothing I could do to undo the decision and if I could, I wouldn’t think twice.I walked to the car, each step slower than the last. Reaching it, I stopped, resting my hands on the cool metal. A sigh escaped me. I opened the door, ready to slide in, when someone caught my eye.“Wait... is that Mimi?” I shut the car door and started walking in her direction. She was speaking to someone, but my eyes were locked on her alone. My pace quickened—I had to catch up. What was Mimi doing near the palace? More importantly, what was she doing in this Pack at all?"Where are you heading to, ma'am?" I didn’t respond. No point. He would follow me anyway, no matter what I said. This is probably where you belong now. I haven’t even taken your things from the Nightshade Pack yet…”“Don’t even start,” I cut in, my arms folding tightly across my chest. “You think it’ll be easy explaining to them why I’m suddenly moving to the Silvermoon Pack? Everything’s happening so fast.”My eyes followed the strangers as they carried box after box into the mansion.I caught John’s gaze as he looked me over from head to toe, a smirk tugging at the corner of his lips.“My shirt suits you,” he said, cocky as ever.I rolled my eyes. “What are you going to say to her?”“She’ll have to accept it,” he replied casually before disappearing into the mansion.I let out a long sigh. She didn’t say anything, but I was sure John had told her to help."I’ll be right back," he said, heading toward the door.As he left, I glanced at Vera.
