ALANA’S POV

The night was finally upon us—the night of my son's Alpha ceremony. The air was thick with anticipation, and the moon hung full and bright in the sky, casting a dainty glow over the Oceanic Pack.

Every member had gathered in the hall, their faces brightened by the soft moonlight, their eyes reflecting the excitement of the occasion. My sons, Cameron and Chase, stood tall and proud in their ceremonial attire, their faces a mirror of the moon’s radiance. Everything was as it should be, perfect in every sense.

As Luna, the first female Alpha of the Oceanic Pack, I rose from the ashes of rejection. Once an outcast and considered an abomination by my pack, I carved a place for myself in a land that was not originally mine. Now, I have raised my sons to become Alphas.

I should have been basking in the glory of my achievements. Instead, I found myself engulfed in soul-wrenching sorrow. A heavy feeling weighed down on my heart, a feeling I couldn’t shake off, no matter how hard I

ALANA'S POVI woke up with a jolt, my lungs filling with a rush of air. The sound of my breathing echoed loudly in the quiet room, the only sign of life. I attempted to move, to rise, but was unable to. Something was restraining me—something tight and painful. Looking down, I saw my wrists and ankles bound by ropes coated with silver, their harsh grip digging painfully into my flesh. My vision was blurry, as if I were peering through a mist, and I felt weak and heavy, as though submerged underwater."Where am I?" I croaked, my throat dry and sore. "What's going on? Where is everyone?”I didn't know where I was or what was happening. The last thing I remembered was the party, the happy faces, and the cheers. Then, after a wave of nausea from drinking my wine, the world spun out of control before it all went blank. An overflow of fear shot through my chest as I thought of my children. Where were they? Were they safe? I started to thrash against my bonds, shouting for help, hoping some

ALANA POVAs each minute passed, the world around me wouldn’t cease its relentless spin. The bitter sting of betrayal was cruel, making my heart pound in my chest like a war drum, echoing the desperation that consumed me. I clutched my trembling hands into fists as I stared at the monster standing before me with a satisfied look on his face.“Klaus,” I implored, my voice quivering with a cocktail of fear and fury. “Spare my children. They bear no guilt.” Yet Klaus, his eyes ablaze with a cruel sense of satisfaction, remained steadfast. He seemed to relish the torment he was on the verge of unleashing. “Your grudge is with me, not them. Regardless of how twisted your mind perceives this, their innocence is undeniable.”He smirked, his lips curling into a small, mocking smile. "Innocent? Don't make me laugh. They're just as guilty as you are for carrying your tainted blood." I snarled, feeling a surge of pain in my chest. How could he utter such words? How could he display such heartl

KAI’S POV My mind raced with endless questions and doubts, unable to process the reality of his return. How could he be alive after all these years? And why now? Why was he back to claim what he had lost? The mere thought of his return, to once again wreak havoc, made my blood boil with rage. My hands clenched into fists, nails digging into my palms, as a wave of anger washed over me."What do you mean, he's back?" I snapped, my voice cold and harsh. "Klaus is dead. He's been dead for years now.” I said, trying to argue.Luke shook his head, a pained expression on his face. “No, he’s not dead. He survived. CAMERON POV We tensed, expecting another round of torture or taunting from the rogue guard from earlier. But to my astonishment, it was Healer Abigail and Ken, Cassandra’s mate, who appeared before us. They both looked nervous but determined, holding a set of keys and a bag of supplies. The shock on both our faces was mirrored in theirs as they took in our disheveled appearances. We looked as though we had been through hell and back, with our clothes torn and stained, our hair matted and dirty, and our skin bruised and covered with burn wounds. Despite the dire circumstances, I felt a wave of relief crash over me at their arrival. In my nineteen years of existence, I had never been so grateful to see anyone. At that moment, I was so overwhelmed that I cried out their names. “Abigail? Ken?” I exclaimed, barely able to believe my eyes. “What brings you here? How did you manage to slip past the guards?” They smiled, relief and joy evident on their faces. “We’re here to rescue you, of

KAI’S POVThe night was a blur of shadows and fading moonlight as I led my group of elite warriors through the dense forest. Our breaths were ragged, and our hearts pounded in our chests like war drums. Yet, we ran with single-minded determination. We were racing against time, against fate itself, to reach the Oceanic Pack and save Alana and the children from the evil grip of that monster Klaus. The stakes were high, and the tension was palpable. It was a night that promised either a bloody victory or nothing at all. My mind was resolute, and my decision was irrevocable.“Run faster!” I shouted to my men as we sprinted along the path stretching out before us. The moonlight barely illuminated our way, casting dreadful shadows on the trees. “We don’t have much time!”"We're almost there," Adam, my second-in-command, mind-linked me. Despite our issues, he was still as resilient and loyal as I remembered him to be. His fierceness could be seen in his determination as he forged ahead like

Klaus’s voice was self-satisfied, his lips curling into a cruel smile as he looked at me.I felt a surge of shock and disbelief, my heart pounding in my chest. My hands clenched into fists, blood dripping from my palms. However, I refused to let him see my pain. I hardened my expression, my eyes aflame with hatred.“Liar,” I hissed, “you’re a lying bastard. You will pay for everything you’ve done. Your life will be the price.”“Oh, but I’m not. I can still hear their screams echoing in my head. Alana didn’t just beg for mercy, you know. She cried and whimpered your name like a terrified child, clinging to the hope that you would come to her rescue. But you were too late, brother.
