“Alex was behind it all,” Klaus announced yet again, his voice booming in the silent room. “He believed that only Alana could get close enough to kill Kai. So he arranged the kidnapping of her children to ensure she followed through with the plan. It was a good plan, if you look at it. She had a perfect opportunity, so to speak, but she let her cheap emotions ruin it.”
