Chapter Sixty-Six

Some days come like they were forced to because they just happen and go by from morning till evening uneventfully. Those kinds of days were boring and even nature seemed to be uninterested and the sun shone weakly.

There wouldn’t be much to do and I would spend the rest of the day reminiscing on my life. Back then in Moonbeam, I would find myself thinking of how horrible the life I lived was and how I just wanted it to end.

Well, not until the fateful day my unfortunate self, came across Asher and I thought my life was about to get better. It was just like all those fairy tales we heard as kids. When the people who had not lived a very pleasant life finally get out of it in one eventful turn like what seems to be mine.

I should have known all those were just stories and I had realized late and only when reality happened to me and not only was the case, but it was worse than what I had previously.

Faced with death, even one of a burning furnace had drawn the line of reality. Bu
