The ride back to the pack was filled with questions and worries. I was fuming with anger as well, for so many things and I could not wait to get an answer to all my questions.

The seer had said the curse was not broken. Even though I had acted tough, I had been shaken by that realization and I hoped earnestly that it was true. If the curse was truly not broken, I would lose a lot of things. I would lose the respect and reverence of my people, I would lose relevance.
