Chapter 88 You Sleep on the Floor

Dorothy said, "You’re looking for Elliot, of course!"

Sophia was momentarily speechless but continued to appease her grandmother. "I suffered so much to find him, you know?"

Dorothy laughed. "You should check Elliot. He might have a birthmark, too."

Elliot, listening from outside, found the legend oddly touching. He signaled to Samuel to knock on the door.

They entered the room, and Elliot said, "We have the porridge. Should we eat now?"

Sophia's mood had improved significantly. "Yes, let's eat."

Samuel hastily set the porridge and side dishes on the table. Sophia sat down and began eating silently, making no noise but consuming her meal swiftly.

"Delicious! It would be even better with some of my shredded potatoes. I'll bring you my stir-fried potatoes tomorrow morning, Grandma," Sophia remarked.

Dorothy smiled. "Sure. It’s getting late. Finish up and head back!"

After leaving the hospital, they got in the car. Sophia reverted to her silent self.
