Chapter 401 The End Justifies the Means

Charlene blushed.

‘Does he think this is what I want?’

She grabbed his arms firmly and tried to pull herself up, but a sharp pain shot through her leg. She fell back down to the couch, dragging him with her. Avery did not expect it. So, he stumbled and fell onto the couch as well.

It worsened things, especially for Charlene. Avery sat on the couch while she kneeled in between his legs.

‘Fuck this! It’s even more suggestive than before!’

The butler heard the commotion and came down. “What’s the matter?”

Then, he saw both of them on the couch and was stunned. At the next moment, he knew what had happened. Turning around, he climbed the stairs and mumbled, “Looks like age has caught up to me. My eyes and ears aren’t working well anymore. There’s simply nobody here.”

Avery started to get impatient with Charlene’s act. She was still kneeling between his legs when he asked coldly, “How long are you going to be kneeling there?”
