He then politely asked Sophia, "Do you prefer beef or lamb?"

Sophia lazily replied from her chair, "Beef."

"Okay."

Amber frowned and spoke up, "Chuck, grill some lamb too. I like lamb."

Chuck casually replied, "I'll have Jackson grill some for you later."

Amber frowned and suddenly felt embarrassed, "I want you to grill it. Grill it until it's crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, like last time."

Chuck frowned. He glanced at Sophia, who was sitting aside, uninterested. With a vague response, he said, "Later."

Sophia smirked.

Men tend to be oblivious to what's in front of them while looking elsewhere.

She grew impatient and subtly gazed toward Jackson. He immediately caught on, stepped away from the grill, and called out to everyone, "Come on, since it’s a rare gathering, let's have a drink! How about playing Truth or Dare?"

The classmates responded eagerly, "Sure, let's do it!"
