Chapter 177 Call Me Honey

Sophia took a deep breath and then got into the car with Elliot.

"Chester is messed up and doesn't appreciate anything," she complained.

Elliot replied, "I've told you before. His parents already spoke to him, but it was futile. After that, no one bothered. He’s someone who won't turn back even if he hits a dead-end."

Sophia added, "Exactly. He nearly drove me crazy. Phoebe wants a divorce, and he accused me of instigating it, venting his anger at me."

Elliot was surprised. "Phoebe wants a divorce?"

"Yeah. I think it's for the best. She'd be tormented sooner or later living with a man like him."

"I fear she might want to leave but won't be able to."

"Why? If he doesn't like Phoebe, why does he cling to her?" she questioned.

Suddenly, Elliot recalled Chester’s panic when he carried Phoebe downstairs that day and said pensively, "I'm not sure if he really does dislike her."

Sophia scoffed. "He's already having a child with another woman. Is that what you call liking someone?"
