Chapter 165 You'll Never Speak Again

It was three days later when Elliot finally managed to bail out the driver involved in the accident through his connections at the police station.

The driver, a man in his forties, thought that getting out of the police station meant that everything would be fine.

However, as soon as he left the police station, he was grabbed and blindfolded. When he woke up, he found himself in a strange place. He was in a transparent glass tank, covered with a locked metal grid at the top.

The tank was half-filled with water, and there was a pipe pouring more water into it. The water level had already reached his stomach.

There was only the glow of the lights in the room. There were no windows anywhere. He panicked and struggled desperately, trying to climb out, but the metal grid above him would not budge no matter how hard he tried.

"Help! Help me!"

No matter how much he cried out, there was no one around to hear him.

Just when he felt that all hope was lost, the door to the room opened.
