Chapter 100 A Fight

Sophia entered the house but did not see Elliot. She headed straight to the bedroom when she learned that he was there.

She was surprised to see him in the wheelchair. "You're still in that wheelchair even though you’re just in the room?"

Elliot stared at her. "You seem really busy."

Sophia walked in, pleased that things were going smoothly. She even smiled at him playfully. "What can I say? With great power comes great responsibility!"

Elliot asked expressionlessly, "Where did you go? Why are you back so late?"

Sophia didn't sense any anger in Elliot's tone. She sat across from him with a playful smile on her face and said, "Guess!"

Elliot's expression turned stern. "You didn't let me pick you up or send you back. You come home late every day. You’re my wife. Don’t you feel any sense of responsibility?”

Sophia frowned in frustration. 'What is he talking about?'

She just had not told him where she had gone. Surely that did not justify this interrogation.
