Liesel was truly beautiful.

With delicate facial features complemented by striking eyes, there was a coldness and emptiness to her.

The red agate necklace brought out the radiance in her eyes.

As she smiled, she didn't seem like her cold self from the past. Instead, she seemed more easygoing.

"Do I look beautiful with this necklace on?" Liesel asked. Her long fingers gently caressed the heavy and expensive red agate stone weighing on her neck.

Jacob's eyes turned stormy. "Liesel, it doesn't suit you."

If it didn't suit her, then what did?

Liesel's smile broadened. She grinned at him. "It doesn't matter whether it suits me or not as long as I like it."

Although she was saying that she liked the red agate necklace, it sounded to Jacob that she was saying that she liked Elijah instead.

Liesel took out her phone to take a photo of herself.

Perhaps it was because of how close the camera was, but the picture seemed a bit fuzzy.
