When good things happen in your life you tend to forget all the bad things that happened in the past. Like those things never happened to us. Because frankly speaking, who would want to remember the bad things that happened to us?But the thing about those bad things is that they are like parasites. They don’t really disappear, they stay dormant until they are ready to cause havoc in the worst possible situation at the worst possible time.Right now the parasite showed herself through the loud woman with black hair who blurted out so much nonsense in front of My Mate. I know that I should have interfered earlier but my father stopped me because of all the people who were watching. If I want Lana to be Luna, the people must see why she deserves such a title. That’s what I hate about politics, the need to always prove to everyone why you make the decisions you make. When I met Lana, I didn’t know about her combat skills or anything about her power. Being away from the politics and the
I woke up to the sound of a very loud voice that I know. I walk sat up from bed and walked towards the door and went out of the room. “As you can see –,” Calvin paused and looked at me, “Well hello there sleepy head.” He greeted me with a smile. I looked at Calvin and was surprised to see that he was not alone. “What the hell are you all doing here?” I asked in confusion. Seth stood up and walked towards me pulling a blanket from the couch and hanging it over my shoulders. “They came to visit and check on you, Angel,” Seth replied on their behalf as he wrapped the blanket around me. My eyes grew big as I forgot to check what I look like and what I was wearing before I got out of the room. “You look like hell, girl,” Calvin remarked, “Are you homesick or something?” He asked before looking at each of the Alpha from the Black Moon Pack and walking towards me. “Are they not treating you well?” He asked and this time his voice sounded angry. “Chill,” I told Calvin, “I was having m
I don’t know what happened or how it happened. But right now, I don’t really care. Because the only thing that matters, the only person that I care about, just disappear right in front of me and I have no clue where to start looking for her. “What just happened?” I asked Calvin angrily. “Seth,” Jericho said as he tries to calm me down. “I don’t really know,” Calvin admitted looking as lost as I am. “You told me you would kill me if something happened to her,” I said looking at Lana’s closest friend, “Let me tell you the same thing. If something bad happened to her, I will kill you, that’s a promise.” I know that I was way out of line but I don’t really care. I know that part of this issue about rogues wolves would affect her. I just thought that she trusted me enough to know that I will never think of her like that. I guess I wasn’t able to give her enough reason to trust me yet. Instead, I gave her more reasons to doubt me because of what Jess said. ‘We should have told her
When I was young I used to think that Fated Mates are like the characters that I read on fairy tales. That once I meet my Fated Mate we would be living happily ever after. When I became a teenager, I realized that Fated Mate was nothing but a stupid dream and that none of it was true. Until I met the person who made me made me change the way I look at things. The person who made me want to conquer the world just to give her everything. That’s how I felt when Lana walked through the door of my bar. I saw my present and future flash right before me the moment that our eyes met.I run through the forest with Lana on my back. I never thought that running with her with me would bring me so much joy. It got me thinking of how much fun it would be to do pack runs with her. ‘It’s the Mate Bond,’ Kai responded to my thoughts. ‘Really?’ I asked. I have heard about the wonders that the Mate Bond can do. But what had stayed with me is the negative things that it can give. ‘I am scared that La
I know that there are a lot of things that Seth and I needed to talk about. A lot of unfinished conversations and unspoken truths. But the moment that I saw our house. The one that he built especially for us, something inside me soften making all the walls I have created to protect myself disappear.I know that Seth brought me here to talk, and I know that he was being a gentleman but my inner horny goddess loves to push him to the edge. Well, I can’t really say that she was the only one enjoying it.One thing is for sure, he really did buy a very nice bed.I turned to see Seth sleeping soundly beside me. Everything about this man is perfect, his looks, his body, his attitude, and most of all he’s mine.
She’s mine…She is finally mine.I watch as the sleeping angel in front of me sleeps so soundly. I gotta admit that her insatiable hunger for me turns me on. I move the lock of hair away from her face and neck and stare at the neck as I watch the mark that I have left glisten.I never believe in fate or destiny. At a young age, I learned that if there was something that you want you had to work your ass off to have it. Everyone had always tried to prove to me that I don’t deserve to be the next Alpha, but my father had always insisted that it was my destiny and no one in our pack deserved it more than I do.But of course, not everyone has the share the same thoughts about it. Not everyone agrees with it.
There are things that happen in our lives that are very hard to explain. Some of it brings us joy, while some of it leaves us with so much pain.Just when my life was falling apart, someone came along to help me pick up the broken pieces. At first, I thought he was just someone temporary, someone, I can use to numb the pain. I had no idea that he would mean more than that. That we could be more than that.He was the miracle in my nightmare. My knight in shining armor. My prince is charming with fur. Despite knowing so little about him, I never lost my faith in him. In those few moments of uncertainty, the thing that I was not sure of was always myself and not him. But I was a coward to even admit that and ended up blaming him for something I know was never his fault.
“You’re having a baby?!” Seth’s dad said happily. Of all the reactions there are in the world, happiness was something I was not expecting Seth’s dad to show. I was initially thinking that he would be angry at me and even demand proof that the child that I was carrying really belongs to Seth. But none of that happened. Instead, I saw a man, no let me correct that, a father, who is so excited that he would finally have a grandchild. “Now I understand why,” Seth’s dad said to him beaming. “Dad,” Seth started to say, “We planned to keep it between us as of now.” “Why?” Seth’s dad frowns, “It’s my grandchild, which means that everyone should know who he is, that no one can mess with him, and that he is a Silverstar. Most importantly, we should celebrate the good news.” “Lana is still in the early stages of her pregnancy and I don’t want a lot of excited people to stress her out,” Seth explains. “It’s bad for the baby as well.” Seth's dad looks at his son and then at me. I can se
