I have never felt so much anger for a person until now. Out of respect for our Alpha as well as my friend and his mother, I let all my anger boil inside of me in silence. But every time I would look at his face I feel like I am about to explode. I know that he was hiding something evil under his sleeves, but just like always, we don’t have any proof to support our claims. The moment that he started to point fingers at Dana, my blood and Zeus' blood start to boil. ‘Hold it,’ Drake said over a mind link. ‘Don’t let him get to you,’ Leon added.‘He’s just provoking you,’ Calvin said softly. If I wasn’t able to talk to Dana earlier I might have thought that she might have something to do with what happened. But after our conversation, I trust that Dana has nothing to do with it, and hearing this evil person say those things to her is pushing my patience to the limit. “I don’t think that Dana would do such a thing,” Drake's mom replies calmly as she looks directly at Ares. “How can
After the meeting, I went straight to Purpura where Dana was. I need to tell her what happened in the meeting. I also need to have a talk with her and need her to tell me everything that she did and all the places that she’d been. I just hope that we could finally have a normal conversation instead of the usual conversation that we have that usually ends with the two of us fighting and saying things that we don’t mean and yet those words that we say ended up hurting us. On my way to Purpura, I practice what I was going to say and even tried to say it out loud so that I can hear the tone of my voice and how it would make me feel if I hear what I just said. My concern right now is not about who is right or wrong. My concern right now is how I can protect Dana from Ares.
I don’t know how long I was sleeping, or how I got on the bed from the couch. But the moment I opened my eyes the sun was already up and shining through Dana’s window.I was always amazed whenever we spend a night here in Purpura at how calming each morning is. You will wake up feeling relaxed and at peace all the time. The first thing that will greet you is the warmth of the sun because Purpura rarely gets bad weather and the sound of the chirping birds beside Dana’s window. And that’s not all, because the part of being here in Dana’s home is the smell of the food that Dana’s mom cooks not only in the morning but all of the time.If you ask me if the saying, “The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach” is true? I’ll answer you in one word,
It has been a very busy past few days. Although, it has always been like that ever since I became the Alpha of the Black Moon Pack. All the things that we are improving in our pack kept everyone including me and Lana so busy. The plans that we made were finally becoming reality.I can’t help but be proud of all the people who were working hard on making all those things that we planned for the Black Moon pack become a reality. And even if one project was done, Lana and I still continuously check everything from the new security that we have placed up to the safe place that she has created for our people to see if there was still something that we can improve.Because of Lana’s non-stop dedication
I passed by the grocery store to get some food because I got the feeling that it will be one hell of a night. I parked my car and noticed that Drake hasn’t arrived yet, which gives me time to prepare food for us to eat. I turned on the lights at the bar counter and in the kitchen as I proceeded with preparing our food. I couldn’t decide on the menu, but since we are both men and wolves, I know that we both love meat. The three menus that I was preparing all compose of meat. The beef stew that Lana’s mom always cooks for me, crispy fried pork that I chopped into bits so that it would be easier to eat, and last but definitely not least, a perfect cut of beef steak. And to finish off this heavy meal I added some steamed potatoes and cheese topped with crispy bacon. I know that Lana would have enjoyed this, I just need to remind myself to cook this kind of menu for her because I know how much she enjoys her meat I was almost done with the meal when my phone vibrated as I received a
“Wow!” was the only word that Jericho was able to utter after I told them about what Drake had told me.I look at my friends and my Luna who were all deep in thought as they try to process everything that I just told them.We all have our hunches but I know that none of us was really expecting it to be true. We all thought that once we have figured out who is the mastermind of all the rogue attacks we would be able to solve the problem. But now that the truth is out in the open. It felt like it was harder for us to be able to come up with a solution.“Honestly,” Jericho begins to say, “I am lost for words.”“Is Drake okay?” Lana asks once again. I know that she had b
The council room was in an uproar after I told them what had happened in Purple Hill. Everyone was in shock by the betrayal of Ares and Isabel.“What are we going to do now?” One of the Elders asked.“We will continue with the training to ensure that everyone would be able to defend themselves the moment that Ares and Isabel decided to attack,” I replied.“We are more prepared than we were before, but we will still check our security and safe place to make sure that every one of our people is safe,” Lana added.“We will help with anything you need,” the council announced.“If Ares and Isabel decided to go to war against us, I want to ensure that our people won&
It was hard for me to focus after knowing that finding Nathaniel was just within my reach. But I know that I have to listen to Seth because what he said was true. If I wanted to keep Nathaniel safe, I need to plan each and every move that I would make. Because one error, no matter how small it might be, can cause Nathaniel’s life.I shrug my worries away as I focus on the task at hand. I had been training our she-wolves harder than ever. With no warning as to when Ares and Isabel decide to attack, I need to ensure that when they do, we are fully prepared for them.“How are you guys holding up?” I asked as I handed them some water to drink and gave them a break.“We’re good Luna,” they all replied panting.
