The meeting area was different from the kind of place I thought in my head.

The council meeting room had enough space for thirty people. The walls of the room were painted with gray and the ceiling was black. Dim lights illuminated the place, bright enough for us to see each other. Gloomy and dark. A perfect atmosphere to talk about peace and war.

There was one long old wooden table in the middle of the room and the elders were already settled on their seats, patiently waiting for their newlywed Alpha.

Every face I saw among the council members was unfriendly. Unhappy.
