There was a hard expression on Alpha Evander’s face and I could tell he was not happy with what was happening in the household of the Ambroses, “Irina went to Dad’s office and I can’t—- I don’t want Dad to see me like this!”

“Just like you told me, Holly,” his voice was husky, his eyes were sultry as he stared at me, “You are not yourself and your sister put something in the wine she offered you last night. I never mind whatever happened. I am just worried your sister would hurt you again once you go back to your room, unguarded.”
