KKTM’s conference room was the largest enclosed area in the building. Brian had purposely installed floor-to-ceiling windows to give it an open and airy appearance. To those in attendance on this particular morning, it was a suffocating coffin. Jenny tried to look calm and confident. No one was speaking above a nervous whisper. From whatever pieces of conversation she could overhear, Jenny knew she wasn’t the only one who hadn’t the slightest clue as to what was about to happen when they were introduced to the man who would have the power to change the rest of their lives.
