A big couch lay in a vast dark room, with a man on it, sipping whiskey slowly and looking out the window with his eyes half closed and his legs crossed on each other grandly.
He suddenly shoved his hands hard on the glass of whiskey in his palms, and the glass shattered into shards, with red liquids oozing from his fingertips.
"The Full Moon will be out soon, I could sense horror approaching at a high speed", he grumbled as he rose on his feet, grabbed the crimson blade hung behind the doorway and he stripped it into his waist quiver.
"Once the Full Moon is activated by the Heavens, my marble will be spotted by all the wolves of the earth, including these draconic dark wolves who sent me out of their pack for not having the same dark furs as them. I swear on my Mum, you'll never get your hands on it", he whimpered as he beat his chest and sprinted out of his room.
He's Tigreal, the universe's lone Silver wolf; possibly there are others?
He wasn't sure because he'd never met someone like him before.
Tigreal was born amidst the most powerful pack in the realm of wolves, controlled and ruled by Alpha Balmond, the most terrifying wolf ever in history.
To Tigreal, Balmond is the scariest and most painful nightmare, whose Lycan transformation always dropped a dread in the pack's heart. His invincible and unstoppable strength made him silent, even though he knew that Balmond slaughtered his mother.
The nuances in his depiction are astounding.
Mentioning his black furs, which are usually standing stiff when he is furious? His fiery eyes, which shone more brilliantly in the daylight than they did at night,
Or his elongated snout with razor-sharp fangs that would rip through flesh or bone without hesitation, accompanied by large, sharp claws on each paw?
One would've thought that they were both born from a rival source, however, they were both brothers, born of the same father but of different mothers.
Being born seven years before Tigreal's birth made him earn the Alpha's throne without any rival or any sort of opposition parties, and this Tig was comfortable with.
They both grew up together, and he showed him love until Tig's first day of shape-shifting.
The sad memories of how the whole pack was bewildered when he shape-shifted into a wolf with white and silver fur are the most hurting memory Tig would've been glad to never remember again.
At first, he thought it was normal, not until he was being labeled the cursed wolf by everyone, including Balmond, the one he trusted to have protected him.
Because he had silver furs, he became an outcast. He couldn't figure out why no other wolf had the same hue as his, ignoring the fact that he was standing amid numerous others whose fur was black or brown, save his. It shouldn't matter if they had different colors of apparel because the only thing separating them is our hues, right? He reflected. However, they believe the opposite.
All was cool and bearable for Tig, until when their Father died and Balmond gained the throne fully. Gosh!!
That's when he knew the definition of hell.
He was shown hell by Balmond. To be exact, He doesn't mind being hut or being made an outcast, however, nothing hurts than seeing one's treasured mother being made a slave and treated like mere rags.
After their father's death, Balmond made Tig's mum his slave in his palace, where he'll sit comfortably with his feet proudly laid on her back.
Despite seeing all these, He still couldn't do anything, He was powerless, with no strength to face him and no one to help, of course, who dared rebel against Balmond the Draconic Dark Lycan?
The day he'll never forget is when he summoned his liver and hurled a stone at Balmond for slapping his mother. Had he known, He would've ignored it.
That one scene he could never forget is the way Balmond drove his claws into his mother's chest, stirring it hard and killing her gradually before his eyes.
Yes, Tigreal saw his most treasured mother being killed before his own two eyes without being able to do anything because he counted himself as a coward.
Before his mum gave up the ghost, she whispered something into his son's ear.
"You're born with the Alpha's Marble. You're destined to rule this Pack. I kept the marble in your luggage already, run for your life. Go now and never return, until you're strong enough to claim back your throne".
That day he left the pack, fleeing for his life into the Human World, and leaving his mum's dead body behind.
Twenty years later, it got to Balmonds ears that Tigreal was born with the Alpha's Marble, and this made him the target of the dark wolves in the whole Universe.
Having the whole Authority and power in his hands, Balmond waged war against all their neighboring packs and he won them all. Killing all wolves without black furs or brown stripes. Who dares to ask him why?, No one.
Tigreal was lost in these thoughts, as the sad memories surges into his head like tides, making him feel heavy.
He checked the time, it was a few minutes after Eleven Pm.
"Damnit", he marveled as he sprinted out of the house and banged into his Red Chevrolet Corvette car, started it up, and sped away to the designated location with the highest-ever acceleration speed.
His heart was thumping and gushing faster than a rushing faucet, for the fear of what would happen next if Balmond could get his hands on the Marble.
Tig wished to have kept the marble with him always, however, he knew he might be caught by Balmond's armies at any time, therefore, the best thing to do is hide it in the most spiritual place in the wild, where it will be fortified by the forest green's protection.
Now the rain has stopped, and the full moon is out. The Moon emerges from the darkness of night and bathes everything in its glow. Its glittering light cascaded down onto the ground, illuminating the trees and bushes, and giving the forest a mystical appearance.
It was the perfect moment for Goblin Hunters to start preying on wolves, therefore, he knew he had to act carefully.
Tig bumped out of the car and dashed into the forest, feeling his feet crunching through the dry leaves beneath.
He opened his eyes widely, and my ears were in action, scanning everywhere as he increased his speed into the location where he hid the marble inside a peach.
He was only a few feet away when he heard a humming sound. He immediately shifted into his wolf form and sniffed it out. Years of experience and living with humans make it certain that it was a human odor.
"Of course, I'm screwed", Tig whimpered as he slapped himself on the forehead angrily.
"Humans are dimwits, they regard everything as natural, and their Human reasoning caused them to commit many blunders without even realizing it. Humans are more like Monkeys, they touch everything they see without thinking twice", He grumbled as he increased his speed in the direction where he kept the marble.
He stormed out of the trees and charged the unidentified figure, anticipating that it would run away, but the silhouette remained unperturbed.
He drew nearer and looked through the silhouettes before realizing it was a young lady.
Surprised!!!
"What could a human girl be doing in such a wild forest like this?"He asked himself rhetorically.
Tig looked around, only to see that the peach was gone, and the marble was lost as he had guessed.
Violently, he grabbed her cheeks to make a fuss, only for him to see his marble glittering in her stomach. Strange?
The Alpha's Marble is dark in color, however, what he sees in her belly is white glittering marble, shining brightly as if it's happy being back where it belongs.
He was contemplating these thoughts and pondering on what was happening when he sniffed out his greatest Nightmare approaching, The Dark Wolves.
Before Tigreal could make a U-turn, one of the dark wolves pounced on him with his elongated paws, luckily, Tig invited his crimson blade into action, slashing through his fangs and sending him backward at a daring speed.
Without hesitation, He grasped the girl's hand and took her out of the forest.
"Who is this young lady? Is it possible to have a marble ingested without realizing it? Even after eating the mystical Alpha's Marble, she doesn't seem dizzy or sleepy." Those were the thoughts racing through Tig's mind during their escapades.
One thing which got him more concerned was that It's an abomination for a wolf to keep the Alpha's Marble inside his belly for too long time, therefore, being a human, she might not survive having it in her belly for a month.
Freya's POVWhen it reaches near enough distance, I realize that it's actually a person walking towards me.I was freezed with fear, I fear humans more than wild animals. My heart skipped a beat and began beating faster than normal. I held my breath, trying to conceal the sound of my heartbeat, hoping that the intruder wouldn't hear it.The stranger slowly approached me without making any noise. I could smell his scent and taste his presence. It smelled like man and sweat mixed together. He stopped right in front of me and stood still for a moment, staring at my eyes as if searching for something. His gaze was intense and frightening. His features are rugged and masculine, he wore a black leather jacket with red lining on the collar and cuffs. On his left side is a dagger strapped on his waist. Something looks weird to me, I could feel it, my sense assured me that he wasn't a human.A normal man wouldn't have walked so comfortably in such a dark forest around that time without torch
All the way back home, Tigreal kept on asking himself this question about this human girl. "Did her appearance today work in my favor? Or to my implications?"These were the questions he kept asking himself, without finding an answer to them. Journey back home from The Bronx to Brooklyn that night took them hours, in which He spent half of it peering at the girl's face where he laid her in the back seat. "According to my assumption, she must be in her twenties. Looking at her from head to toe, she's a broken girl, a totally disheartened one like me", Tig mumbled in a concerned tone. Tigreal got lost in thoughts, as he started soliloquizing and his thoughts started escaping through his lips. "Her hair was roughly cut short, and her skin seemed pale due to lack of sunlight exposure. She wore a simple white dress in which half of it was torn and his shoe revealed how much she'd suffered. I could smell the heavy infliction of the rain on her, as she was shivering consist
Freya's POV"Gosh, my head hurts...when did I get home last night..., I mumbled out of slumber, stretching my arms wide away from my body. The ray of lights peeping through the window blinded my eyes, as I overlayed my palms on my face, trying to get rid of my lethargy.Regaining my consciousness, I opened my eyes slowly, only to find myself on a soft bed with fluffy pillowsI tried to sit up, but I found myself unable to move my limbs, As if I was trapped in a web of blankets and sheets.I was really sleepy, I could feel my eyelids drooping down again, but I forced myself to stay awake, trying all my best to recall what's happening to me. Everything was cool until I looked round the room, actually the most beautiful bedroom that I've ever seen in my entire life. The walls were painted white, the floor was covered in black carpet and the ceiling was high above, giving the impression that the room was spacious. "How did I end up here?", I asked myself, as I struggled hard and sit
Freya's POVMy heartbeat raced faster and I could feel my skin turning cold."I'll die?" I asked him in a trembling voice, as I stared at him with my eyes wide open.Perhaps my guess from the start is actually the truth, "He must be a Vampire". Maybe he brought me here to enjoy his breakfast without any one disturbing him, perhaps I finally landed in the hand of a predator. My headaches terribly, as I stared at him with wide eyes."Yes, you will die.......if you don't have my wolf marble removed from your belly in time. You'll die", he replied. "He's a lunatic", I concluded.I'm sure a nineteen year old girl like me wouldn't have eaten a stone without knowing, it's quite impossible. "Right, I haven't introduced myself yet. I Am A Wolf. Your world called it Lycanthrope", he replied in a serious tone which got me much more confused. At least, people don't normally joke these days with such absurd fairy tales. "Ooooh....I see", I replied to him as I started moving slightly
Freya's POVMy rumbling stomach woke me up where I slept, still in my bed. I could feel my head throbbing painfully.I opened my eyes slowly and saw a figure sitting beside me on the bed, with his eyes locked on mine.At first, I thought it was merely a dream, but not until the memories of my encounter with a monster surged back into my head, I jumped out of bed with fear, my heart pounded wildly."You....... you're.....", I stuttered continuously with fear, as I dashed to one corner of the room, with my head hidden between my thighs. I couldn't imagine seeing his beastful transformation again. I peeped my head slowly out of my thighs, only to see him grinning in a mockery manner. "Do you really find me scary?, Or did I frighten you too much?", he asked me."No, no! Not at all", I lied through my teeth as I shook my head vigorously."Just let me go..... please", I pleaded as tears began forming in my eyes."But why? Do you dislike being with me so much?", he asked me with concer
Freya's POVThe journey from Brooklyn to Irving Place is quite long. After four stops, I reached the last stop, where I alighted and ran away from the crowd to the nearest alleyway. It took me five minutes to walk before I reached Christine's place, in which I spent each and every minute of it in fear. "This monster stole away my peace", I mumbled to myself, as I approached the front yard of the building.Every shadow looked like a monster to me, and every standing tree and shrub looked like beasts to my eyes.I tried to open the door, but failed miserably; Christine would've never changed the password to unlock the door without telling me, since she knew I visited her whenever I wanted to anyway. After trying three times, I decided to try calling her number. Without delay, I dialed her number and it rang, for five different times without her answering the call. I was confused what's happening, it was 8:54pm, Christine will never stay that late outside. "Is she inside and inte
Freya's POV Her ears twitched rapidly as she peered at me in bewilderment, like a hare whose eye had found a carrot."Seriously?" she shouted, her eyes wide open and her mouth gaping agape. My head nodded enthusiastically.YES, I DID IT!Her reaction made me feel good inside, knowing that I have finally managed to convince her. However, she seemed skeptical as well. Her eyebrows are knitted together, giving her a look of doubtfulness. Now is the time for me to add more lies to convince her totally. Of course, I trust Christine, she can detect my lies anytime if I'm not careful."So you want to stay here for the night? You've eaten?", She asked me with a bright grin on her face. Now It seems my lies are working more than my imagination. Like a cool innocent girl, I nodded in acceptance. "Yes I've eaten....I ate hamburgers in the afternoon, of course, half loaf is better than none", I replied in a silent pitched tone to crown my lies. "Ooooh sorry dear.....that means you're into
Tigreal was sitting peacefully on his long sofa, holding a glass of champagne and enjoying the appeasing mood when he felt a puzzling sensation all over his body. Tig's body trembled incessantly as if there was an electric current going through it. Except for his head, his body became inactive. He felt as if his brain seemed to be drained out through the top of his skull. "My Marble Is In Danger" He marveled as his body jerked and shuddered uncontrollably until he finally collapsed onto the floor. He was in this state for almost ten minutes before I could stand again without falling or passing out from exhaustion. "I could sense the danger lurking around my Marble, I could sense the negative energies lurking around it. Had I known, I shouldn't have allowed that naive and oblivious girl to leave on her own", Tigreal muttered regretfully. Tigreal was in his room earlier, viewing her life through the camera installed beneath the ceiling fan. Watching how she consumed su
Tigreal, Freya, Christine, Kelvin, and Trevor stood in the dimly lit chamber, surrounded by an array of weaponry. Each of them diligently prepared for the impending war. The tension in the room was palpable, the weight of their task imprinted on their resolute features. They knew the difficulties ahead would put their strength and resolve to the test like never before. Kelvin slung a razor-sharp sword over his waist, its dazzling edge poised for action, throwing threatening glimmers in the dark light. Christine slung a quiver of arrows across her back, her nimble fingers checking the bowstring with accustomed accuracy. Trevor, the epitome of cool under pressure, painstakingly loaded a revolver, his gestures demonstrating his steadfast concentration. Tigreal, dominating in his armor, adjusted the straps, his posture exuding power and resolve. Freya gently fastened a pair of sparkling daggers to her waist, their blades echoing her steadfast willpower. Trevor's trusty companion stormed
Tigreal summoned an assembly in the middle of the White Moon Pack territory, amid a large expanse of tall trees. It was a long-awaited event, and the wolves gathered in silence. The pack, unified in their allegiance and reverence for their Alpha, Tigreal, listened intently.Tigreal, his towering form, a symbol of power, began to speak. "My fellow pack members, the time has come for me to embark on a quest in the human world." The threat presented by Balmond and Balerick to both our realm and the human world is too enormous to ignore."The people in the throng exchanged knowing looks, aware of the coming peril that hung over them all."I understand your concerns and fears," Tigreal said, "but this mission cannot be postponed any longer." The unholy union of Balmond and Balerick jeopardizes the state of balance we have battled to protect for decades."Seraphine's eyes twinkled with excitement as she stood among the crowd. She had long desired the role of Alpha, and the possibility of Ti
Trevor's strength began to return on the second day in the infirmary, bringing with it a ray of hope. The air smelled faintly of antiseptic, and the calm hum of medical equipment formed a continuous background. Tigreal, Freya, Kelvin, and Christine formed a unified front at his bedside, ready to hear his narrative of the horrible events that had occurred.Freya was the first to speak, her voice concerned and relieved. "Trevor, you had us worried for more than a day there."Tigreal, who towered over the rest, gave his thoughts. "Yes, Trevor. It seemed like an eon. I'm pleased to see you're on the mend."Christine, her eyes moist with emotion, chimed in. "When Freya carried you here, we feared the worst."Trevor couldn't help but crack a joke, his sense of humour intact despite his trauma. "How about we skip over the part where Freya carried me around like a hero?" Laughter swept across the room, temporarily relieving tension.Freya couldn't keep her curiosity at bay any longer, her bri
Freya's heart wrenched as she saw her son, Rolf, suffer. Her previously limitless patience had been completely depleted. Her gaze stayed fixated on Raff and Seraphine, two figures who relished in their spiteful victory, flaming with a violent mix of maternal love and rage. Her own clan's hypocritical methods had left a dark stain on what should have been the Luminance Festival's clean, joyous mood.Freya's change into her powerful werewolf form unfolded with captivating speed, punctuated by a primal cry that pierced the air and rang across the pack. Her pure white fur shimmered wonderfully in the dappled sunshine, almost otherworldly. Her eyes were like twin fires, conveying a strong resolve. She sprang from her seated position, landing with an earth shaking impact in the center of the arena, fully prepared for the confrontation that lay ahead. As Freya saw her rival's change on the other side of the arena, Seraphine's eyes narrowed and met hers. She had a long-standing desire for dom
The annual "Luminance Festival" erupted like a bright supernova in the heart of the White Moon's Pack, igniting the very air with pleasure and unity. This lavish celebration symbolized the pack members' harmonious relationship, a monument to their shared devotion to peace and prosperity. Laughter cascaded through the old forest, forming a tapestry of delight that transcended species and size, as every creature came to celebrate their connected life, from the mighty to the tiniest. The event was a visual work of art. Vibrant flags swayed in the mild breeze, like bursts of color adorning the scene around them. Tables heaved under the weight of delicious treats, which included everything from luscious meats to scrumptious desserts. Fruits and nectar-filled goblets glistened in the dappled sunlight, enticing anybody who came close. The entire pack sank to the seductive beat of dance and song as musicians performed energetic, captivating songs. Tigreal, magnificent in his festive clothing
As Trevor and his men prepared to leave the room, they had no idea that Balmond had a cyberpunk agent, a master of virtual manipulation, who had managed to hack into the system and decode the location. The agent had traced their positions through the intercepted phone conversation between Balmond and Trevor's squad, sending critical information to Balmond's waiting men.Balmond's men filled the room as the door slammed open, their forms silhouetted by the faint light of the corridor. Trevor's pulse rate increased as the standoff intensified, each second ticking by in a tight symphony of expectation."Looks like we've got company," one of Trevor's guys said, a sardonic smile pulling at his lips despite the risk."Take cover and keep them at bay," Trevor said quickly, his voice dripping with anxiety. We must buy some time."Bullets flew through the air as Trevor's crew fought a desperate struggle against Balmond's well-coordinated men. The room had turned into a battleground, with furni
Under the cover of night, Trevor and his men surrounded Balerick's towering home. Their steps were deliberate, like burglars in the dark, as they approached the home of the enigmatic individual in charge of the perilous mission. The weight of their goal weighed heavily on them, a mix of resolve and anxiety propelling their every action.Trevor's men secured the perimeter of the home with the precision of a well-oiled machine, their rifles drawn. The night air was heavy with suspense as they awaited Trevor's signal to make their move. Balerick's destiny hung in the balance, a captive audience to the impending clash.Trevor's grip on his firearm was firm, his sight fixed on the home in front of him. He understood this was the decisive moment, the climax of their attempts to foil Balmond's terrible ploy. The crew rushed forward as the signal was given, their actions synced in a precise dance. The element of surprise worked in their favor as they invaded the mansion, quickly and expertly
Trevor's thoughts raced with a fresh resolve as the echoes of Balmond and Balerick's dialogue reverberated in his head. The truck Balerick was escorting into the city had secrets that were considerably more frightening than they initially appeared to be, which had put the wheels of curiosity in action. There was a definite hidden objective at work, and Trevor was determined to find out what it was.Utilizing his connections, Trevor put together a small team of reliable people who were eager to help him in his quest to unravel the mysteries behind the trucks. They established an impromptu camp under the shelter of the thick woodland, hidden from prying eyes but well situated to watch the trucks' approach.Tension lingered in the air like a charged current as the sun sunk below the horizon, sending sweeping shadows across the countryside. Trevor's senses were tingling with anticipation at every sound, including distant wind and rustling leaves. He was aware that what he was going to fac
Trevor's path crossed with an unexpected figure as he approached the threshold of Balmond's richly decorated sitting room. During his leaving, he found himself walking beside a man who, at first look, appeared to be an average visitor to Balmond's domain. However, when their shoulders brushed against each other for a split second, an electric current of familiarity shot through Trevor's veins, igniting a newfound sensation of awareness.Trevor's feet briefly slowed down in response to this strange familiarity, giving him a priceless additional second to secretly examine the man's face. It was a quick but purposeful gaze meant to capture the man's soul without revealing his intentions. He had an enigmatic nature that sparked a flood of recollections and feelings that had been kept under wraps. He then realized that this man was none other than Mr. Balerick, Freya's villainous uncle, with the destructive ability of a lightning bolt.Trevor's heart gripped at the sight of Balerick, as me
