Unfortunately, the gray wolf's small stature, which had been an asset against such an imposing opponent, would be his undoing. His initial agility advantage had lasted only a brief moment.The rogue let out a pleading cry, but it was too late. He tried to sit up on his paws to reduce the pressure on his neck. But the difference in size between the two wolves was such that his efforts were in vain.Once the red wolf's fangs had closed in on his prey, the Alpha simply had to get back into position without bothering.
