JONEA

We actually had breakfast in Daran's study. Loko came with breakfast for us.

"Have our guests finished breakfast yet?" Daran asked.

"Yes, Master. They have returned to their respective positions."

"Immediately prepare all our needs, Loko."

"Yes, Master!"

I saw Loko step back with a bow before turning around and leaving Daran's study. Now it's just me and Daran. We sat on the couch. There is a small table in front of us. Before leaving, Loko had arranged our breakfast there.

"Say it! I know you want to ask something."

Daran always gives me chills. How did he know the things I was thinking and worrying about? Before I even said it.

“Loko… I mean him….”

"He is a neighbour who lives here. Since about 200 years ago? I forget exactly when he lived here."

I was really taken aback. Loko is just a guy in his mid-40s to 50s. He even looks much younger than my adoptive parents. Who would have thought that he was already hundreds of years old? Then Daran, how old is he?

"Loko is

DARAN "How? Is it nice to touch my face?" I held Jonea's hands firmly and placed them on my cheeks. She tried to get away, but I kept her there. I really showed my sweet smile in front of her. Our faces are so close. I had to bend my head to line up our faces. "You've been staring at me. Am I cool? Am I handsome?" I really want to know how she will react. But that girl just showed me a straight and cold face. Oh, I'm so annoyed. "You just look like a fraud!" Jonea curtly said to me and withdrew her hands very quickly. This time I was really offended. She says my face is like a con man's face? Seriously! If only she knew, all the girls in the pack and the country of Blackton are vying to get me. I should teach this little fox a lesson. I took her to my regular shop. This is the one character I used to frequent if I wanted to leave the house. And now, Loko already replaces me to shop and come there. So, how many years have I not come to this shop since the last time? 100 years?

JONEA Eve handed me a glass of water. It's juice or something similar. Because the colour resembles a strawberry. My chest is still pounding, and my emotions are still running high. Eve dragged me into a chair and gave me the drink. On the other hand, Daran just stood still and didn't show any expression. He also still needs to answer my previous question. "So, your name is Jonea, huh?" she asked. "Thanks," I said to Eve for the drink she handed me. "Wow, you really are a sweet girl." Eve put her hands on her hips and turned to Daran. "You didn't do anything weird to get her, did you?" "I bought her with my personal money." "What?!" Eve screamed loudly. "You bought her? Do you think your future wife is something you can trade?" I took a sip of the juice in my hand. It looks like raspberry juice mixed with other fruit. I don't know what. But it tastes sweet and sour at the same time. When served warm, it feels so soothing. I just glanced at the two of them, who were noisy. My

JONEA After telling me a few things, Eve suddenly walked closer to me and grabbed the pendant hanging around my neck. "Dragon tears? How about having it?" Eve looked taken aback. She took off the dragon tear pendant as if her hand was on fire. I need to find out where I got this pendant. I held it tightly, hoping that my feelings would reach Aland, who had given this pendant to me. Eve rubbed her hot hands from the dragon tear pendant around my neck. She looked agitated. "Are you all right, Eve?" "So those really are dragon tears? Only some people can touch and own it. Because the dragon's tears choose, who has the right to own them. If someone else were to forcefully touch it, the worst would be this." Eve showed her burning red palms. I am surprised. Because that didn't happen to Daran. He also touched my dragon tear pendant. "Does it hurt?" I was worried to see Eve's injured hand. "Does not matter. It's just a small wound. Will recover in a few days. Remember, I'm still a

DARAN I quickly came when I felt a powerful magical energy. The magic power was coming from Evangelista's study. I don't know what she's doing, but I'm worried that something terrible will happen to Jonea. I shouldn't have left Jonea alone with Eve. Even though I trust Eve, she won't hurt Jonea; Eve doesn't know who Jonea really is. When I came, a magic power was enveloping Jonea's whole body. It was a mighty wild, magical power I had not seen for several hundred years. She must be stopped. I tried to cut the magic knot and hugged Jonea from behind to protect and comfort her. I have to bring Jonea back to her senses. All the bits of bladed weapons, armor, and wrought iron that had been in Eve's workshop went flying. Everything was spinning in a whirlwind and enveloping Jonea's body. The girl didn't even realize that her body was scratched by many sharp weapons. I hugged her tightly and absorbed her wild magical energy. No! This energy comes out of the dragon's tears. I had no

JONEA I even came here bringing nothing with me. But why did I pack so much of my stuff to return to Sapphire Blue? "Do you need any help, Miss?" I jumped in shock and almost died right then and there. Without a sound, without knowing when he came, suddenly he was standing behind me like a ghost. Loko's face was always pale. He stood stiff as a log. "Yes! No!" I corrected my words because I was too nervous. "You don't need to worry. I can pack these things myself. How about you? You must be busy because you must pack Daran's things." "Mr. Carver didn't even bring anything for this move." "What does it mean?" "Because the house we are going to has long been owned by Mr. Carver, decades ago. The house is already filled with Master's personal belongings." I actually stood up and faced Loko because I was so shocked. "So you're saying Daran has lived in the Blue Sapphire before? Even there, he has a private house and personal belongings, I see?" Loko just winked in approval. "W

JONEA "Under the leadership of Luke Draken, the land of Blue Sapphire is now a free and open land. Various races other than werewolves can come, stay, and even live there with special permission. They must also pay a hefty amount to get a residence permit in Blue Sapphire." I just finished reading the last part of the note Eve left me. Soon the plane will also land at the Blue Sapphire airport. I closed the notebook and put it back in my backpack. "However, Luke Draken still refuses for the lycans to enter and stay in his territory no matter what. Until now, the Lycans remain the main enemies of the werewolves in the land of Blue Sapphires. That condition has only strengthened under Luke Draken." Keep remembering that part of the note. "Fuck Eve. She gave me a fake identity as a werewolf to get into the Blue Sapphire. I use the name Jonea Rawling, but as a hybrid girl, not as a Lycan, let alone a human." I clutched the vial of medicine I found with Eve's notebook tightly. Accord

JONEAI was sitting in what felt like endless darkness. No sound except the echo of my own breath, no movement except the shadow of myself fading on a pitch-black floor like cracked glass. I knew it was just a dream, but it felt so real, like a trap I couldn’t escape.Suddenly, a voice broke the silence—cold and familiar.“Jonea,” it called, echoing through the void. “I know you can hear me.”Luke Draken. My body tensed, but I couldn’t see him. Just his voice, flowing with power and certainty.“Surely you’re starting to understand the dragon blood flowing in your veins,” he continued. “You can’t deny it, Jonea. Our bodies were bound long before the red moon rose.”In the dream, I touched my own body. My hand brushed against something that shouldn’t be there—hard, sharp scales covering half of me. I gasped, choking on a sob. What had happened to me?Luke chuckled softly, mocking. “I will live inside you forever,” he said, his voice drawing closer, as if whispering directly into my ear.

JONEAIt seemed like Luke noticed something off about my body. He grinned widely and tossed Hunter to the ground like a rag doll. Then, in a swift move, he picked me up and laid me down on the marble altar. Why? What’s happening to me? My chest felt tight, my whole body burning. I was so thirsty—desperately craving someone’s touch, someone to soothe me.Without realizing it, I started moaning and gasping at the same time. Luke gently lowered me onto the altar, then climbed over me with a calculated ease.“Union,” he whispered. “You’re breaking the seal. And when the crimson moon reaches its peak, your pure blood will be mine!”I couldn’t control my body or my thoughts anymore. Pain surged through me as I let out a scream. My eyes flew open, my head tilting back to stare at the dome’s opening. The full crimson moon stared back.“Ahhh!” I cried out as sharp fangs pushed out of my mouth, piercing my lips.Luke leaned closer, his eyes glowing bright red—the eyes of a dragon. He kissed me,

HUNTERI turned around to see one of the shadow creatures loyal to me in this secret mission. Its black eyes glinted under the moonlight."The werewolf forces are ready," it said shortly.I nodded. Me, Aland, Edison, and Elmar. Together, we protected the Sapphire Blue with strength and unbreakable friendship. But the Red Dragons destroyed everything. One by one, my friends fell. Edison and Elmar vanished into the darkness of the shadow world. Jonea, broken and battered, chose to hide. Aland—he was captured by Luke Draken. MILLERNever in my life did I think I’d witness something like this—a scene straight out of a legend. Standing before me were humans from the shadow hunter ranks, werewolves, lycans, dragons, and even jeverics, creatures that had been at odds for as long as anyone could remember. And yet, here they were, side by side, united by a single purpose: finding Jonea before it was too late. The sky was gloomy that day, heavy gray clouds mirroring the tension hanging over us. From the hilltop, I watched the valley below where thousands of figures had gathered, awaiting final orders before the search began.“All of this… it’s for Jonea,” I murmured to myself.Arabel stood beside me, her sharp eyes scanning the crowd with her usual vigilance. “They understand what’s at stake, Miller,” she said firmly, her voice calm but resolute. “If Jonea falls into the wrong hands, it’s not just her life that’s at risk. The whole world is.”I nodded, swallowing the fear creeping into my chest. On the human sid

DARANI’m losing my mind. There’s no other way to describe how I feel right now. My entire body feels like it’s on fire—an intense mix of anxiety and rage. I’ve been searching for Jonea for days, but there’s no trace of her.I’ve scoured every corner of this island, plunged into shadow realms, and even crossed the borders of the Blue Sapphire lands. It’s like she’s been erased from existence, like the wind leaving a faint trail only to vanish without a trace.“Jonea!” I shout, breaking the silence of the night. But only my own echo answers me.Frustrated, I press on, crossing boundaries I’m not supposed to. I find myself at the edge of the Dragon Valley, the gateway to the Land of the Blue Dragons. This is my last shot. If she’s not here, I don’t know where else to look.I’m furious.“JONEA!” I roar again, my voice echoing off the steep cliffs. My rage is so intense that the plants around me wither and die, drained by the destructive energy radiating from my body. But it’s not Jonea w

JONEAI froze, my heart pounding erratically as Luke’s words sank in.“The last time we met was at a graveyard, right?” he asked, a faint smirk playing on his lips, making my blood boil. “More accurately, I saw you. You knew I was there, but you chose to ignore me.”My eyes widened. A graveyard? I racked my brain, trying to make sense of his words. Only one graveyard stood out in my memory—the one where my parents were buried. The day I stood at the edge of a fresh grave, feeling the world crumble beneath my feet. The day I auctioned off my freedom for something far worse.“So,” I murmured, almost in disbelief, “you were there? Watching me?”Luke’s smirk widened. His face was calm, but his eyes hinted at something much darker.“You looked so fragile that day,” he said, stepping closer. “Just a little girl who’d lost everything. It was… entertaining to watch.”Rage bubbled in my chest, but my body refused to move, as if his presence alone was a chain binding me in place. He reached out

JONEAI stared out the hospital room window from my bed for what felt like the hundredth time. The white blanket covering me felt unbearably heavy—not because of its weight, but because of what lay beneath it. Black, cold, hardened scales covered parts of my body. It felt like I was trapped in an unending nightmare. This was the first time I had absorbed magical energy, and I never imagined the consequences would be this severe. My body, my mind, even my heart—all felt different. Yet, in a strange way, I didn’t regret it. The baby dragons had been saved. They were just like me—alone and scared, facing a ruthless world.Miller stopped by yesterday and explained everything. It turns out Aland brought me here, to this special hospital for hunters. Daran and Aland had a heated argument over where I should be treated. Aland insisted I stay under his watch, while Daran wanted to take me back. In the end, Miller mediated, and this hospital became the compromise.According to Miller, Aland wa
