Olive is sitting in her apartment alone, the silence almost deafening. She can't stop thinking about how everything went wrong.

"I had to do it," Olive mutters to herself, pacing back and forth in her small living room. She still can't believe Kane left without looking back.

She picks up her phone, scrolling through old photos of her and Kane, stopping at one where they're laughing, arms wrapped around each other. Her heart aches, and she tosses the phone onto the couch, not wanting to feel the pain.
