044: Against Better Judgment

[Primus]

How did she find a space in my heart? I must be crazy, catching feelings for a woman like her.

And to make things worse, she seems to be completely oblivious to her effect on me. When she touches me I can't see straight, and when she walks across the room, I can't remember how to breathe.

Thank you all for your patience as I release these chapters. I hope you don't mind that on most days it will only be one chapter a day. These chapters are LOOOOOONG compared to a lot of the other books here, including some of my other books where a chapter might be 1/2-1/3 this length (it's what the editors ask when I write exclusives) That said, I enjoy writing this story. The Dragon Prince books are written for art and joy and nothing else. If I only had one reader on GoodNovel, I'd still keep writing it. I expect to have it finished before the end of summer. If you are enjoying this story, consider leaving it a gem or two. Books like this, I've been told, cannot be successful on a platform like this because they are too complex. Let's prove them wrong. :)
