He looked at Terry and nodded, his temper slowly cooling down, going over to Serena he sat on the edge of the bed, stroking her cheek with the back of his hand, " I will be back soon"

She gave him a weak smile and nodded, Serena felt useless as she laid there in pains, not able to move, but was grateful to Anne and the maid who changed and cleaned her up carefully without causing her too much pain.

"Thank you" Serena says to them when Anne placed a pillow behind her head.

"No thanks necessary dear, the doctor will be here soon, so just rest till he gets here, I can see you are in a great deal of pain, you don't have to hide it from me"

Serena eyes filled with tears, "you are being so kind to me, why?"

"Sebastian had a real liking for you, he is my very good and close friend, and that makes you my friend, so try to relax, you will be okay in no time" Anne said as Serena nodded and closed her eyes, drifting off to sleep.

Terry poured himself and Sebastian a double scotch and handed one
