I signed the sale agreement and slid the file across the table to Joshua. He checked the documents.

“Perfect,” he said. His gaze dropped to my cleavage.

I cleared my throat. He looked into my eyes.

The notification lit up on my phone screen.

“Money received. Thanks,” I said and got up from the chair.

“That scar on your chest… how did you get it?” Joshua asked.

“Got it tattooed by the most famous tattoo artist in Xafran,” I said.

“Tattoo that’s burnt and carved by a blade on your skin? What kind of tattoo artist does that?” He asked.

“Special kind?” I shrugged.

He closed the file, got up and walked round the table towards me.

“Wanna go on a walk?” He stretched out his hand.

I stared at his hand. “I can walk on my own two feet without needing extra support, Alpha.”

He smiled, shaking his head.
