Ian gestured with his hand as he took a drag from his cigarette.

"We have faith in your integrity! The future of our two companies now rests in your hands, so we need to have mutual trust throughout our collaboration."

Carlisle nodded in agreement.

"Ian, my dear friend, you speak true. Going forward, we will place all our strategic planning in Henderson's hands. Let's work together to ensure the success of our partnership!"

Although not a monumental deal, this agreement involved a rivalry between Xavier and Carissa. Kathy felt especially delighted to secure the deal and wore a confident smile as she raised her glass.

"I will not disappoint the trust placed in me by our two leaders," she declared before downing her drink in one swift motion.

Dominic's heart raced as he observed Kathy's self-assured expression. Meanwhile, in Carissa's office, Xavier vented his frustration by smashing objects in sight.
