Ian appealed to Miss Kathy for more specificity, expressing a pressing need for positive news to mend his broken heart with a painful expression.

Kathy couldn't contain her laughter at Ian's comedic appearance, and even Dominic, typically stoic, joined in her amusement. Ian, glancing at the laughing Carlisle, felt a wave of despondency wash over him.

He grabbed a glass of red wine and downed it in one gulp, feeling his heart quicken and his mind grow hazy.

"Miss Kathy, please share while my mind is still clear," Ian stated, wanting to get to the point.

"When Mr. Henderson and I were going through these two contracts earlier, we noticed some issues. If you spot these loopholes, you may have a basis to sue Carissa directly. However, they probably won't opt for litigation, as it would be a waste of time and money," Kathy disclosed.
