Mia's escape plan.

It didn't take long before Rowan made his way out from Mia's bedroom. He deeply sighed before facing the maidservant that stood guard at the door side. "See to it that nobody disturbs her". He said. The maidservant pledged her respect to him after receiving his order.

(Sobbing). The bedsheet of the bed was already soaked in tears. Mia refused to stop crying… To her, her father only made her situation a lot worse than it was. If he didn't have a better explanation to tell her, why did he come to her room?. His words to her only made her lose all hope. Does that mean that she will marry him?. That Demon?!. She can't let that possibly happen… Does that mean in just a day more, her life won't be hers anymore?. She would have to submit to that killer?. Never in her lifetime did she ever think that this moment was going to happen to her. She has always in her lifetime thought of falling in love with a guy that would love her the same way as her. A guy that she would only get married to because of love and not for the kingdom.

A thought suddenly popped inside Mia's head. Since the Queen ran away just to avoid her fate, shouldn't she also do the same?.

Mia got up from the bed… Her mind was already made up. The only available option is for her to run away… Far away from this place. She can't sacrifice her happiness for the kingdom.

She made use of the bedsheet to clean up the tears in her eyes. After that, she headed straight to her closet, she found a bag and packed some of her clothes inside it.

Mia thought of her escape plan, she was sure that her maidservant was probably on watch at her door, she would have to make use of the window then, since that was her only option now.

Mia brought out some of her clothes, after which she tied them into a tight knot. She hung the long rope that she made with her clothes on the window side, after which she then helped herself down with the help of it.

At first she wanted to give up because of the height of the building, one wrong step would mean her falling off to her death. But after thinking thoroughly, she finally made her decision. She just has to be careful while at it.

Mia was careful as made her way down with the rope. Although she was being super careful, her heart won't stop beating rapidly. The fearing instinct was still there and active, but she decided to wave it off in the meantime.

She just has to get away from here before the marriage, only then will her heart and mind be at rest.

"Whoa!!!". Mia almost got frightened to death because of the way her hands slipped down while helping her way down with the rope. [Bathum!. Bathum!]. Her heart was beating rapidly more than before. She really thought she was gonna die, luckily enough, she was fast to get the grip tight of the rope again before she reached the ground.

Mia was hesitant to let go of the rope even though she already made it down. It was after a while was she finally able to let it go.

She hid herself in a corner, she was thinking that maybe someone did hear her frightened yell. That was possible because of the way she yelled it out loudly.

Seeing that no one was there, she made the run for it.

"Yes!!". She thought when she saw the large gate before her. She didn't know that escaping from the palace could be this easy. Why didn't she think of this a long time ago?. She wondered.

Mia hurriedly rushed to the gate, but before her fingers could even touch the gate, she felt a tight grip on her other hand.

She turned her front, seeing the person that held her, made it as if the time stopped counting. The whole world flashed right in front of her.

She didn't expect to get caught when she almost made it out. And not only her, it was her Father that caught her. How was she going to explain this to him?. Mia couldn't move an inch from where she was standing. She only stared at him, her mouth was stiff and couldn't compose anything to say. Actually, she was totally lost.

Mia could see the disappointment in her Father's face. Her Father is disappointed in her. But this is not her fault, how could he not understand this?.

"Fa… father". She called out to him. Mia bent her head, she was so ashamed to face her Father.

"Take her back to her chamber. Make sure to stay guard in her room. If anything should go wrong tomorrow, I'll make sure I take your heads with me!". Rowan ordered before taking his leave.

For once in her lifetime did Mia get this shocked and surprised. She has never witnessed her father be this mean and strict. What had gotten into him?. Is he that mad at her that made him behave not like himself?.

The guards did exactly as Elder prince Rowan ordered. To be honest, they were really scared for their lives. They had never seen him behave like this before. The Aura that he just emitted now was beyond them. For a moment they all thought that he was going to turn into his inner wolf form and tear them into pieces.

The four guards that assisted Mia back to her chamber sighed in relief. They all stood guard outside her room. To be sure that their lives were really safe and secured, they asked for assistance from some other guards. Those guards were the ones to guard the window side of Mia's room. They can't afford her attempting the same escape plan again.
